24.01.2022 You get what you pay for... I recently enrolled in a training course. It was a considerable amount of money, then I found an online option, a third of the price! I chatted to them and signed up. I realise, I’ve done what I advise sellers NOT to do. The support and systems are second rate, and I’m going to end up probably paying to attend sessions anyway. Australia seems to be built on ‘the cheapest quote’. ... Not all agents (or training courses!) are equal. Do your homework. 17.01.2022 I have a group of lifelong friends. (The advantages of growing up in a country town I suppose). Our parents knew each other, and we were known to each other from babes in arms. We’ve come and gone through each other’s lives, but we’ve been there for the big events, the little, the celebrations, the commiserations, the joy and the grief. And, the older we get, the closer we grow. On my 50th birthday, they gave me a birthday card about time. (Taking time to be fully present).... Embedded within the card, were thyme seeds! I’ve finally gotten around to planting them, and noticed today, that they seem to have shot up overnight (I’ve also just picked some to go in tonight’s dinner!) 09.01.2022 I was recently reminded about a running race I lost when I was 11. My friend had a burst of energy and whizzed past me, just at the crucial time. Apparently I wasn’t happy (I don’t recall the event, it must have been too traumatic and I’ve blocked it from my memory!) The fact is, I’m known for my competitive nature. I want to be the best, do my best. Which, as a real estate agent transmutes to wanting to set street records (of which I’ve set a few, including suburb records...). And, helping you reach your goals. I was asked at an appraisal recently, ‘what are my strengths?’ I think that would be one. Together with building relationships, honesty and doing it all with heart.
