18.01.2022 Hi all! Just a timely reminder to make sure your pets are up to date with their tick prevention! We've had a sudden rise in tick cases presenting to the clinic in the past few weeks. Please make sure if you are in a tick area your four legged family members have a preventative. Prevention is much better than treating a pet for paralysis (and a lot cheaper!) Symptoms of Paralysis: Lethargy... Weakness in the hind legs Changed bark/meow Vomitting Breathing difficulties If you suspect that your pet may be affected or to discuss the right preventative for your furry friend please give us a call on 49871111 See more

17.01.2022 To our valued clients, through this difficult time, we understand that things can be a bit tough, but we will not tolerate rude and abusive behaviour towards our staff (as it's such a horrible situation, that leaves our staff so shaken). We have rules set in place to keep not only you, but our staff safe, and we follow the rules set out by the Government. There are a lot of clinics, who through this time, don't allow anyone to enter, and we have tried our hardest to keep t...hings as normal as possible. Whilst we understand this is tough - it's tough for everyone. Our nurses explain to each client as they ring, that one family member is to come down (as has been stated on our Facebook page previously), and is also written numerous times on our front door. If you show us this rude and aggressive behaviour, you will be asked to leave the clinic. Our staff work very hard, and don't need to be abused in these hard time. We don't like the restrictions - but we're nearly there and ask for a little more patience. We all work very hard in this industry, and until everything is back to normal, these rules will stay in place.

15.01.2022 Brief musical interlude to your scrolling.

15.01.2022 IMPORTANT CHANGES DUE TO THE EVER-CHANGING COVID ISSUES Things are changing yet again folks, we have been forced to reintroduce some of our previous clinic restrictions and add a few more due to the current situation. - 1 person per pet will be permitted to attend consultations (as previously done) - Only 2 people at any one time will be permitted in the waiting room - those waiting will be required to wait outside until the waiting room is free. We will endeavor to keep this... as seamless as possible but there may be a wait outside. As a result we will space our consultations out accordingly. - All people inside the hospital will be required to wear a mask - Your QR Registration will be checked prior to entry into the hospital Anyone from the Greater Sydney Region including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Wollongong or have been to these regions since June 21st will not be allowed to enter the building. Please refer to staff for further advice. Things are constantly changing and whilst these restrictions are frustrating, we are doing everything we can to keep staff and clients safe. Please call if you require any clarification on this restrictions. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Staff at Raymond Terrace Vets

04.01.2022 A kind man stopped to check on a deceased kangaroo on Raymond Terrace Road this morning after seeing this little guy's head pop up next to his mum. He brought him in to us early this morning, wrapped up safely. Luckily for this little guy he didn't appear injured, just cold and hungry. He was given to one of our amazing carers who has him safely under her wing! Lucky boy This is why you should always check pouches on deceased wildlife!! You might just save a life!
