24.01.2022 Yes, we are meeting again face to face fortnightly on Sunday afternoons at 3 pm to around 4.30 pm (winter start time). There were 7 of us there last Sunday for our first meeting for 3 months. All are welcome to come along and see what we are about. 14.01.2022 The meeting due next Sunday has been cancelled. We encourage you to keep writing at home until next time.. If you are up to date with your writing, choose another prompt from previous sessions that you have yet to write. So much we could write about 2020 so far.
09.01.2022 Please note there will be NO meeting tomorrow, Sunday 26th due to concerns about Covid cases in Port Stephens. Keep your stories for next time - Sunday 9th August. It is suggested you write and bring a couple of limericks - usually humorous, the rhythm can be pleasing to the ear when read aloud. Happy Writing.
09.01.2022 Writing tends to be a solitary pursuit, so it is good to get face to face with others to talk about writing, also gives a deadline to produce something. The next meeting is Sunday 20 September at the Raymond Terrace Bowling Club downstairs meeting room at 3 pm to after 4 pm.(From October the start time will be 4 pm). The prompt for the meeting are ( around 500 words for prose or poem, fiction or non fiction) 1 Coincidences 2 Morgenmuffel 3 The Blarney Stone (or Man)... Morgenmuffel is a German word meaning somebody who is grumpy in the mornings and doesn't like to wake up early.

02.01.2022 It may feel strange after the long break, but yes we are back, meeting tomorrow, Sunday 6th. This time meeting at 3.30 pm at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club probably for just one hour. You will be expected to go up to reception to be checked in, and temperature checked, then come back down to the Boardroom meeting room for our meeting.
