07.01.2022 We noticed that our friends from NSW Ambulance snapped a jacaranda photo earlier this week...so we couldn't resist getting our own. Jacaranda Avenue in Raymond Terrace is in full bloom. If you haven't gone for a drive to check it out yet, this weekend is the perfect time. As always we are #PreparedForAnything here at Fire and Rescue NSW, including posing the truck for photos in our favourite street

04.01.2022 Power is out to much of Lakeside. We attended a tree over power lines behind Deas Place among other calls as part of an extremely busy night for Fire and Rescue NSW in the Hunter. Stay safe and call 000 if you need assistance.

03.01.2022 Thankfully everyone is safe. It’s a timely reminder to have a working smoke alarms.

03.01.2022 We've been finding it hard to put into words how important Captain Dennis Peters has been to our station and our community for the last 23 years. Dennis has been there for our whole community at every hour of the day on every day of the year, be it weekends, the middle of the night, or a public holiday. He's trained many, many firefighters, guided them on their firefighting journey, and everyone under his command has learned lots and been the best firefighter they possibly ca...n be. We're sad to see Dennis making the decision to retire. We celebrate the work that he's done to improve fire safety in our community, working with the elderly, young people and everyone in between. We know that Dennis will continue to contribute to the Raymond Terrace community for many years to come. Dennis, enjoy your nights without fire calls, and know you'll always be welcomed with open arms to the station. From all of us here at Raymond Terrace Fire Station, thank you for your decades of work, service and dedication. It has made a massive difference to many lives. Fire and Rescue NSW
