25.01.2022 Rebecca & Trent. Standing on a 4 metre high ships mooring in the middle of Sydney Harbour while we cruised around capturing the shots. You got to go "out on a limb" sometimes to get something real special. Awesome fun, great wedding. I also photographed Trents sisters wedding too.

21.01.2022 Simone and Scotts wedding was a special night for me too after photographing Simone and family for years. I got awesome people, weather, location and most importantly, light. Here is a tiny few of my favorites. Everything was shot in or no more than 10 meters from the home. Every wedding needs a unique photo. "It would be great to put them in a dingy in the pool", I said laughingly to Simones dad. "Got one in the shed was the reply :) I love the boat shots, something really special. Spent last night with the family, giving them a slide show viewing of my images and a few prints and I got to watch the smiles as each shot changed. 20.01.2022 Im in the middle of Macquarie Uni Grads right now but looking forward to shooting Simone and Scotts wedding in 2 weeks. I have photographed Simone and her family since she was in 4th Grade primary school. Life is a cool journey. :)

17.01.2022 Midnight under the Harbour Bridge and Veda spots the bike 30 metres ahead and says "I love bikes". We walk on and the bike owner yells "Hey Ray". It turns out I shot his wedding a few years before. Next minute, click. Got it. Love the shot.

16.01.2022 I just finished a 7 day run doing the graduations at Macquarie Uni. I shot their formal and family shots in our setup studios and get to hunt for good candids, outside after the ceremony, like this. Newcastle next.

14.01.2022 Went to a local fair in Hunters Hill and found a mates brother with his new baby but he didnt see me. Nice candid. Pretty precious. :)

14.01.2022 I was shooting yesterday at West Ryde Pumping Station (water) for Sydney Water and so got a great tour of the complex opened in 1891. The occasion was the announcement of its Heritage Listing. I found 3 gentlemen who worked there 50 years ago (lots of stories) and so set them up for an nice portrait together against a photo of the room working 80 years back. 12.01.2022 Below - John and Jane. Firstly, the cover image from their Wedding Album, shot back in 2000 then a family portrait taken a few months back. 04.01.2022 Joe with his wife, mother, 2 sons,and their wives and children, at his 60th Birthday Party in a local hall with 200 of his close friends. Quickly put together with great atmosphere. A large print sits proudly on his lining room wall. You can see more of this event at my website.

03.01.2022 Over the last 3 years I shot many events covering the GONSKI campaign for NSW Teachers Federation. This is one of my fav shots. We took a ferry to cruise around Malcolms place then did an all in shot before passing to the TV crew and media next to me for a live broadcast. After getting the official shot, I asked the protesters to do something special, quickly for me. LOL I got the shot in 10 seconds and only missed 4. The camera lets me do funny stuff sometimes. The protester thought it was a hoot. :)

03.01.2022 A 5 minute shoot on the way to the reception. As soon as I saw this thru my lens, I was blown away. The dress, sky and sea are all the same shade of blue. Incredible. Lovely natural pose, awesome light and background, one of my many favorites :)

02.01.2022 Macquarrie Uni grads done again for 6 months and this was my office, 98 hours over 8 days with over 300 graduates and their families in as many variations of groups as i could making over 3600 frames. Lucky I love my work. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

02.01.2022 Macquarie Uni grads are over again till May. I got to shoot approx 450 grads and families in 10 days. Great fun. The catering staff needed the obligatory jumping in front of lake photo. Timing is everything but "White men cant jump" LOL . Looking forward to Simone and Scotts wedding tomorrow.

02.01.2022 Amy and Simon, 16/Jan 2016, about 25 meters from the church as they were leaving after having their reception in the Beecroft Presbyterian Church rear yard. This was the only time we could get away. I love the Black and White best.
