He was telling us they had it so fine tuned, increases of productivity of 0.4% were making them excited because it all meant things were improving. After hearing the 0.4% figure I asked the manager about shade and productivity. He yelled like he completely-...Continue reading

19.01.2022 Wooly just showed me this today. Made a few years ago now. Ahem, these landscapes are quite a bit dryer now but salinity and sodicity still happening :/ Regenerative Grazing is the best landscape management option for both these.

15.01.2022 Ahem... not a good sight. The ‘view’ from the front of the house right now... and it is actually trying to rain too. This is woeful.

07.01.2022 "We want to replace mass agriculture with a mass of farmers" He managed to create a small, but profitable farm in Quebec. Now, Jean-Martin Fortier wants to show that an agricultural revolution is possible. He told Brut nature about it.

06.01.2022 This is the faces of the first dinner by this project. We had the coordinators at our farm a couple of years ago. They went to lots of great farms around the state, created lovely video stories. This dinner included lots of produce from many of those farms and farm families. Our ROG Lamb was on the menu and everyone loved it. Well done Grow Love :) Cheers from us at ROG :)

03.01.2022 Managing in dry times for us means selling great quality sheep in great condition. We constantly assess our paddocks and match our stocking rate to carrying capacity. We love our paddocks, pastures, soils and our sheep. 353 mm of rain on our farm in the past 12 months. Not really a decision at all - these ewes must go so we can continue to manage our healthy landscape. We have learned so much that is helping us in dry times through being involved in Mid Lachlan Landcare Growing the Grazing Revolution Project.
