16.01.2022 Meet R69/BooBoo - she was born on the ranch 08/08/20 sired by TF151 out of a TF148 cow. Her pedigree is wagyu royalty and we were ecstatic that she was a heifer and that she was up and feeding well!! The next day though we found her in the paddock unable to get up. We brought her in front of the fire to warm up and a feed but something still wasn’t right. We soon found out that she had been trampled on and broken both left legs - the local vets prognosis wasn’t very good ...so Nicks dad popped her in the car and drove her down to our long term vet and mates down at Uni Vets Camden who were able to build a pretty neat splint and cast both legs. She lived the highlife in the city and was very well looked after at nicks parents place and of late at our place where she became BFF’s with @cocothedobe . Today, 7 weeks later we reunited her with her mum who surprisingly showed a lot of interest in her and surprisingly still had some milk in those udders. P79 is a modern day alternative wagyu heifer that was channeling her inner Byron Bay vibes when we found her trying to have a water birth in the dam yesterday.
