22.01.2022 To Celebrate World Wombat Day this year on the 22 October, we will be having a World Wombat Day Picnic again here at the Sanctuary. Our day to celebrate is Sund...ay 24th October 2021. 11.30 am Arrival BYO pucnic and bbq food. Free bbq to cook. Chairs, tables and picnic areas available, play ground for small children and lots of animals to visit and meet up close. $5.00 pony rides Cold soft drinks for sale. Donations appreciated but yes as usual we offer free entry yes FREE plus the BIG DRAW CARD is meeting all our amazing WOMBATS. Yes you can walk with the wombats, pat, play, snuggle and have a selfie or 2 with you favorites. Other fun stuff includes live music, wildlife tour and talk, tractor hay rides and an arvo bon fire with baked spuds and marshmellows Yes free what an amazing Aussie arvo and free. Donations of carrots, apples, weetbix, bleach, washing powder, tissues and toilet paper are always appreciated. Please PM to book as limited numbers. 16.01.2022 Hi all Wildwood Park Sanctuary Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation and SA Rabbit Rescue and Adoptions is holding its end of year fundraiser. We hope to finish the An...imal Medical Center and the Education Shed in 2021 but need some financial assistance of aprox $5000.00 As you know if you follow our pages, we are transparent and open to visitors by appointment and we enjoy sharing our love and appreciation of wildlife and rescue animals. We are sadly struggling to finish these important projects due to lack of finance, so if you would like to assist it would be much appreciated. Donations are Tax deductible and we will continue this fundraiser until the projects are completed. We would like to say that if you make a donation you are welcome to the sanctuary for a guided visit to meet and interact with all the animals by way of their and our Thank you. If you would like to donate medical equipment to the Medical Center we would much appreciate that also and we are also looking for Aboriginal artifacts for the Ed shed re hunting and gathering. He has shaved areas that look sp...lotchie but that was to get poo off. Lol Here he is in the kitchen after 5 nights in the laundry and today he is well and back with his friend Princess Fifi. 11.01.2022 I would truely like to thank my wonderful friends Brenda, Rose, Vanessa and Kelsey for their visit today. We all put together lunch items and a few wines. Plus ...the lovely ladies assisted with Dazza Wombat who us unwell and filthy muddy and poop covered. Brenda helped shampoo Dazza and held onto him while I shaved off lots that did not wash off. Kelsey snipped a few poo lumps off and Rose and Vanessa supervised. A huge thanks for their kindness and frienship today. See more
