06.01.2022 Well it’s been a slow start to my artistic year. I’ve been enjoying time with my kids, my family and my dogs. I feel really refreshed and ready to dive into a new year. I’m happy to share my first artwork for 2020. This is a special commission for a friend. The brief was simple - create something with a peace symbol and rainbow colours. As everyone knows, animals and the environment are my passion so I wanted to represent the relationship between the ocean and the land that is Australia. Who wants to drive around with a boring spare tyre cover when you can have a one of a kind art work.
05.01.2022 My 8 year old son has been having lots of bad dreams lately so I decided to make him a special dreamcatcher. He has collected feathers ever since my Mum passed away. It’s his little sign that Grandma is watching over him. So they were the perfect addition along with my ceramic hand made leaves pressed from fresh guava and jackfruit trees. I have also placed medallions with tribal Scorpion designs from Borneo. The Scorpion symbolises valiance and courage, which is just what the young fella needs in the dark of night.
04.01.2022 Visitors to London this summer have had an extra attraction to seek out book-shaped benches scattered across the capital. Not only are they are a beautiful tribute to some of the best London-themed literature, but they are raising money for a great cause.
