21.01.2022 RBD is delighted to acknowledge Sam Kelly our 4th year apprentice as a well deserved Tasmanian State winner of Industrial Apprentice of the Year at the 2015 Tasmanian NECA Excellence Awards in Hobart on the weekend. We wish him the best of luck in the National Awards later in the year In Brisbane! We were also fortunate enough to win the State award for the best Industrial - Medium Project for the work led by Will Sutton and his team on the TA Ann Installation at Smithton. Thank you to all those involved.
20.01.2022 Well weve managed to do it again! Last night we received the award in the category of Commercial Small Project for the Electrical & Data fit out of Tas Waters Devonport offices. So a huge congratulations to all involved well deserved. We had a wonderful night at the award ceremony in Sydney last night here are a few pics
19.01.2022 The 24 Hour Spin Cycle for Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter in Tasmania event is landing in Devonport- where is this happening? at Splash Devonport... Aquatic and Leisure Centre Devonport in February 2020. Save the dates Saturday 15th to Sunday 16th. How does this event work? The event is similar to Border Relay For Life but on bikes. As a team you take turns riding with the aim of keeping the bike moving for a total of 24-hours. During the duration of the event there will be 3 indoor cycle classes. These classes are approximately 50 minutes and are Les Mills RPM classes taken by an enthusiastic certified instructor. Never tried RPM? It is a fantastic achievement & well deserved by Marek being judged as the most outstanding Tasmanian Apprentice for 2019.

Marek Porter won Industrial Apprentice of the Year and Alex Findlater won the Commercial Apprentice of the Year award. Both winners are hosted with RBD Electrical & Instrumentation Fantastic work to all involved! Other E&C finalists included Sam Youl from Cox Electrical, Mitchel Gordon from BSH Electrical and Joshua Gadd and Shaun Halley who are both from Frontline Electrical. Honorable mention went out to Brannen Marinkovic from BSH Electrical A big congratulations to all finalists and nominees! Your hard work has definitely paid off! This is our Wilmot Power Station t...eam undergoing a major upgrade and Catagunya Power Station team practicing social distancing during a toolbox meeting. With an initial safety reset at the onset of coronavirus to install hygiene stations and increase PPE nothing can stop them now. Great work team! See more
