16.01.2022 Thinking of getting married at the Brisbane registry in 2021? This is what one of our happy couples had to say. To book your interview go to www.qld.gov.au/registryceremonies. Remy [our celebrant] was very professional and presented very well. She explained the whole process to us during our initial interview and on the wedding day, so we felt comfortable knowing what to expect. Overall it was such a great experience for us, and we would recommend it to anyone. The ceremony rooms are lovely!

08.01.2022 Another great love story to celebrate Pride month. "In 1994, after 5 years together, we wanted to get ‘married’ and have a family. On 27 August 1994 we celebrated our love with a non-legal binding commitment ceremony in front of friends and family with the usual wedding fanfare. When it became legal for us to marry, we knew we wanted to, and to marry on the same date as our commitment ceremony (our ‘wedding’ anniversary).... On our 25th wedding anniversary we ‘renewed our vows’ legally this time! We nicknamed it our ‘weddiversary’ to recognise both special occasions. It was a beautiful day and it is wonderful to finally have that coveted piece of paper saying we are finally Mrs and Mrs. Pettina and Melissa @lightsmithimages #brisbaneregistry Brisbane Pride Festival www.brisbanepride.org.au
