24.01.2022 It is with deep sadness we report the passing of RBH Olympian, Bill Butchart (pictured here with fellow Olympians Selma Kajan and Collis Birmingham) who was a finalist in the 800m at the Melbourne Olympics. 23.01.2022 It is with great sadness I inform you of the passing of Phillip Bell - he had been a RBH member since he was 10 when we ran down at Sir Joseph Banks Park. He ran for the club in Summer and Winter competitions, that was when the summer comps were at ES Marks. Due to Saturday work commitments as a medical records officer at St Vincents, his running with the Club finished in the mid 90s. He remained loyal to the Club, working at the water stations or timing chutes or the finish lines when RBH helped out with the Fun Runs, and that service would have spanned nearly three decades. He was the brother of Life Member Tess Bell-McKillop. His funeral is Thursday 12 March, 2020 at 2pm at the South Chapel of Eastern Suburbs Crematorium at Botany Cemetery, Matraville. Those attending are asked to wear something bright.

22.01.2022 Further to the clubs earlier post, the funeral is on Friday at 1.30pm at Wild Street Anglican Church, corner of Wild and Holden Streets, Maroubra and afterwards gathering will be at The Coast Golf Club, 1 Coast Hospital Road, Little Bay. 12.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we share the news that our Historian and Life Member, Ken Goldman, passed away. Ken achieved the remarkable feat of 50 years of consecutive competition for the Club. As per Kens wishes, he was cremated without ceremony. He was 79.
