21.01.2022 A new vehicle is always exciting but especially when it will transport the tiniest of patients to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for lifesaving treatment and back to a hospital closer to home when they're well enough. Here's NeoRESQ's Melissa Melville with a little tour inside the new Running for Premature Babies NeoRESQ vehicle. Please donate today to keep this amazing service running: www.donateforpremmiebabies.com.au

20.01.2022 A phone call is the only contact for Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) Emergency Department frontline health workers rostered in the isolation bay where suspected COVID-19 patients are assessed. We can do our part by staying home if we feel unwell and by getting tested. www.rbwhfoundation.com.au
19.01.2022 Meet proud Royal Mum, Anna, with twins Marylou and Bobby who arrived eight weeks early at RBWH and are now back home in Bundaberg, thriving. Today is World Prematurity Day, a time to reflect on the more than 1,600 premature and seriously-ill babies from all over Queensland and Northern New South Wales who are cared for by RBWH every year. If you've had a premmie at the Royal, please feel free to share your story. www.donateforpremmiebabies.com.au
17.01.2022 The RBWH Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides critical care and life support for acutely ill and injured patients. Many grateful patients leave messages of thanks for ICU staff such as thank you cards and even signed rugby jerseys. Australian Rugby player, Reece Hodge, donated this jersey to thank the ICU team for saving his dad's life. We thank all our health heroes for their incredible life saving work. www.rbwhfoundation.com.au

16.01.2022 With recent news that Queensland will also open the borders to Greater Sydney and Victoria from December 1, it's important to remember the key steps in keeping safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing and safe hygiene practices are just some of the ways we can do our part, just like Blake, a Patient Support Officer at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) who works tirelessly to keep our hospital clean everyday! www.rbwhfoundation.com.au
16.01.2022 During NAIDOC Week, we pay tribute to the RBWH Ngarrama Royal Midwifery Group, which is achieving incredible outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander mums and their babies. Since this team of dedicated midwives and healthcare workers began in 2011, higher numbers of women are attending regular appointments and more babies are being born at a healthier birth weight. www.rbwhfoundation.com.au

13.01.2022 COVID-19 is a stark reminder of the risk all health workers, past and present, face during pandemics. In tribute, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital has unveiled this memorial recognising three nurses who died during the Spanish Flu a century ago. It's a fitting acknowledgment of the dedicated service of Nurses and Midwives in this International year of the Nurse and Midwife. www.rbwhfoundation.com.au
