23.01.2022 URGENT ADVICE FOR R&C ASC - AGM & Presentation tonight 6 May 2021 - changes in place Unfortunately as you are no doubt aware by now, NSW has recorded two new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. This has caused the NSW Government to re-introduce COVID restrictions for Greater Sydney. Restrictions will apply until at least Monday and limit household guests to 20, make masks compulsory in indoor public venues and on public transport, and restric...t aged care visitation to two people. It means some changes are necessary with respect to the Club AGM & Presentation tonight: avoid large events if you are vulnerable; the wearing of masks is compulsory; there will be NO BYO plate of food; pizzas will be served - each person will receive their own plate and plastic fork and be served their piece of pizza; drinks will be served - there will be no self service; maintain social distancing; practice the hygiene protocols we should all be practising anyway; we will be asking members for a small donation to the raffle and food - Anne Gately will advise this evening how to do this. We need to be responsible and careful - it doesn't take much for things to get out of hand - if you have been to any of the listed sites below at the indicated times, then you will need to stay at home. If you feel at all nervous about being in a crowd - staying home is the best advice. Below is a list of the exposure relevant sites in Sydney If you have been to these venues at the relevant time - depending on the venue you are classified as either a casual contact or a close contact - different restrictions apply depending on whether you are a close or casual contact but for both you must immediately get tested and self isolate - either way you cannot come to the AGM & Presentation even if you are feeling well. When registering you will be asked to: consent/not consent to photos being used on our facebook page, website and monthly bulletin; and agree/not agree to the terms and conditions of affiliating with Swimming NSW (SNSW)*. *Affiliation with SNSW - why do we do this? We have to ensure you are aware of the terms and conditions of registering with Swimming NSW because it is a condition of our affiliation. We affiliate to support swimming in NSW and across Australia and to access insurance for our members. Everyone over 18 years old must supply a unique email address To register our members with Swimming NSW everyone over the age of 18 is required to be registered under their own unique email address. It is no longer possible to register families under one email address - this means each person in a family group over the age of 18 must supply their own email address - there is provision for this on the Try Booking booking form. Please note there will be changes in our procedures to ensure we are compliant with the NSW government's public health orders for community sporting competitions and the Wylie's Baths COVID-19 Safety Plan. The Club has also had to develop our own COVID-19 Safety Plan. New members are always welcome. If you didn't make the first weekend of swimming, don't worry - come down to Wylie's Baths on any Saturday to try us out.

08.01.2022 We got off to a great start last Saturday. Weather conditions were perfect and despite the high tide, we fitted in all our races in record time. Thanks to all members for respecting social distancing and the other COVID Safety measures we instigated. We welcomed a number of new members and others who came down to try it out and will hopefully return to continue the season with us.
