19.01.2022 We are proud to update everyone that the Interaction 2020 supplies have reached East Timor In November last year, various high school students packed educational kits to be distributed to families. The kits contained pencils, pens, colouring pencils, glue and rulers. Whilst there was a lot of student resources, we didn’t forget about the teachers! Several boxes of teacher resources were also included to support the incredible local educators. ... The supplies will be going to a local school in Timor that Rotary Burleigh Heads has helped construct. We look forward to sharing the impact and hopefully receiving further photos of these supplies in use See more

14.01.2022 As you may know, we are taking part in the Ration Challenge to show refugees we really are all in this together For one week, our members will be eating just a small amount of rice, flour, lentils, chickpeas, beans, fish and oil - THAT'S IT! Today we're trying to raise enough money to feed a refugee for 3 months. Will you help us do it?!... If we can do that TODAY, our members will earn 2 tsp of coffee or sugar to add to our week's rations. As most of our members are young uni students, we NEED our daily caffeine and sugar hits! Help us receive this reward by donating below: https://actforpeace.rationchallenge.org.au/t/rotaractclubof HURRY! This reward will only be up for 24 HOURS Thank you all in advance!

These dogs hold special places in our lives, and so it is only right that we honour them. ... So hold man's best friend a little tighter today & give them an extra treat, they deserve it!
