19.01.2022 Introducing Miss Katie, welcome to our Rainbow family Katie :)

19.01.2022 Continuing with Naidoc week celebrations in our Geckos room we created the Aboriginal flag using playdough. We also engaged in a matching game with indigenous symbols.

17.01.2022 Miss Monika is back to do our Sports and Movement class. Koalas and Geckos children were excited to have her back. We did warm up exercises first and then some running races before engaging in games that helped the children follow direction, learn colours and also developed their gross motor skills. Regular physical activity can help children improve cardio respiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles and control weight.

16.01.2022 When children practice yoga it increases their confidence, builds concentration and strengthens growing bodies. Miss Vikki came today and the Koalas and Geckos children enjoyed their lesson. There was lots of stretching, and learning new positions and the practising of our deeper breathing.

16.01.2022 In our cooking class this week we made Sushi, the children were engaged in looking at their cook books and finding out what would be needed. Exposing children to cooking helps them become more accustomed to nutritious foods. They are much more likely to eat what they make.

11.01.2022 Our Echidnas children have had a busy week engaging in a variety of activities. They have been focusing on numbers and counting. They have enjoyed ten pin bowling inside, floor puzzles and climbing frames outside.

10.01.2022 We are super excited for water play tomorrow. Your child/ren are more than welcome to come dressed in their swimmers. Please bring spare clothes, a hat, a towel and a bag for wet clothing.
