23.01.2022 And another maiden. This one was a long slow flight, it's a glider. In the air about 45minutes just burning up the sky. Yes it's a typical model aircraft well over powered able to loop, roll, inverted flight and pull up to the top again but that's not what it all has to about. A lovely glider to cruise around with. Thanks Onion man.

10.01.2022 It's been quite a while since anything was posted here. Our Clyde North airfield was closed and now has a housing development underway. I have purchased my own flying site in Briagolong, VIC. The club house was moved down in January 2019. I have completed a new barn that includes a shower and flushing toilet, kitchen and workshop area. My house is also well underway.... In a change of direction I invite anyone that was a member of rcflighttraining to call in and have a chat and possibly a fight but I want to focus my flying on teaching those that want to learn to fly in a five day week. The price of $2,500 will include all meals and accommodation. I have already taught people from far North Queensland, Sydney and near South Australia. Now I'm able to back it up everything onsite. 09.01.2022 Well after being away for a couple of weekends and the weather its was great to finally be supplied with a no wind sunny day. The mower got a great work out and we got some great flying. Peter gave himself another lesson on aircraft battery maintenance. At about 800 metres Peter announced his eyesight on the aircraft had just been exceeded. I took control (buddy box) and turned the aircraft I got it nearly heading back and sadly had to announce, No radio connection. The airc...raft now in a decent of about 10 to 15 degrees. Sometimes we have good luck. The aircraft twitch a couple of times in the decent but was getting closer. Radio contact was reestablished and it was safely bought to a lovely runway landing. Adrian and Angelo had some fun flights, especially Adrian after the elevator servo failed. Hunter and Michael landed up doing some very close combat flying in there Bixlers. See more
08.01.2022 So I located the bixlers. 8 in total. Put together some batteries and radio gear. Daniel and family visiting for the weekend (1st person to join rcflighttraining years ago) During the first flight we had a very slow love tap with the wings. Second flight saw a slight change.... The bixler I was flying was cut clean in half mid air. I immediately called landing. Actually I was now also a spectator. Luckily I had a hot glue gun so it wasn't long and I was airborne again. Thanks for a great day mate.
