22.01.2022 We all had a fabulous time last night at the Pattex distillery, thanks to Rotarian Raj and his business partner Steve Parry talking about their brand new gin, section 44,Rtn Nigel was trying to figure out how to tap the still. #rotarians Having fun

21.01.2022 A number of our members last night were delighted to tour a local distillery (part owned by one of our members Raj) that has just released its first run of "Section 44" Gin and also has its own whiskey maturing for release in a few years time. Pattex distillery is in Cambridge and the Gin is blended with Tasmanian Lemon Myrtle - very good! If interested contact us.

A lot of hard work by our President Mike over the last 12 months or so has culminated in this event. If you are interested in finding out more about this group of young people who believe that they can make a difference in this world let us know and we will put you in touch

16.01.2022 Last week our operations group were invited to check out our friends from the Hobart vintage machinery society after they recommissioned their old single cylinder roller. Might be a few OHS issues if we were trying to get it into service these days #peopleofaction

13.01.2022 All good Rotary projects require one worker and four supervisors. Here the club truck is getting a bit of a clean up during the winter. Thanks Ted, David, John and Nev

13.01.2022 The Clubs train finally came off the trailer today after nearly six months. Started first time (sort of). The maintenance crew celebrated with one of Fiona’s wonderful cream cakes

11.01.2022 Great to be at the handing over of the new ride on mower and gardening equipment last week between the Rotary Club of Lindisfarne and the Risdon Vale Neighbourh...ood Centre. I was pleased to support Lindisfarne Rotary with a $3,900 Stronger Communities Grant this year and know that the new equipment will be a great addition for volunteers at the Risdon Vale Community Garden.

10.01.2022 As part of our ongoing commitment to support the local communities, we were very happy today to present to the Risdon Vale Community Centre some gardening equipment and a ride on mower. Financed through a Federal Govt Stronger Communities Grant via the office of the Hon Julie Collins MHR.

07.01.2022 After an enforced break our Tommy Choo Choo will be operating at the Salamanca Market next Saturday morning - his first outing since January. Some extra COVID-19 precautions will be in place but we still expect everyone to have a great time. Tommy has been cleaned and polished and now looks better than ever - come and have a look and a ride. We look forward to seeing you at the Market.
