11.01.2022 Did you know the RCNC Community Garden has hosted over 100 Produce Swap & Shares since they started back in 2011? The concept is not a new one...echoing back to the days when neighbours shared their crops or eggs over the fence, sharing their local knowledge, sharing spare egg cartons or desperately trying to find a home for the 100’s of spare zucchini. We share and swap in it’s simplest form...no records are kept, no money exchanged, all are welcome even if you have nothing to share or swap. Although morning tea is always gratefully accepted So what could you bring? Produce, herbs, cuttings, seedlings, preserves, jars, egg cartons, seeds, gardening resources (books/magazines) anything that could be useful for a backyard farmer Share below if you are bringing something along tomorrow...
