15.01.2022 Some things to think about.....
14.01.2022 From little things, big things grow! 1200 new trees were put in the ground this morning by Rotary Club of Warragul members, their families and some students from Warragul Regional College. Two hours work by about 20 people and Christmas trees for 2023 are on their way! And the next hour was carefully devoted to morning tea! Always the best thanks to Captain John Gallienne and Mavis! Now to watch the trees grow.

13.01.2022 The Rotary Club of Warragul is going to suspend our normal dinner meetings for a while. We have worked out strategies to keep working on supporting the community, just working online. Well have zoom meetings for the Board and Committees, a chat group online and a phone tree in operation each Tuesday instead of our normal meetings. With a glass of wine in hand! And maybe a chocolate too. Well be working out plans for Rotary Park stage 3, continuing with planning our major fundraising activities such as the Oct Art Show and our Christmas Trees. What is your club doing to keep working together? We can do this together!

01.01.2022 A QUESTION FOR YOU: If your friend was going to celebrate his/her 100th Birthday, would you make sure you could attend, find a suitable gift and be part of ...the celebrations? Well, Rotary Sydney, Wellington, Auckland and Melbourne are planning to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australasia in 2021. So what will be your gift or project? With the Centenary in April 2021 fast approaching, Rotary Melbourne together with the other Centurion Clubs are actively encouraging all 1,374 Rotary Clubs within all 27 Districts throughout Australia and New Zealand to identify and deliver their Centennial Project. We can look at this Centenary as a gift! A gift that is 100 years in the making. We will not get another Centenary in our lifetime.
01.01.2022 Club member Andrea Klindworth while visiting family in the USA went to a meeting of the Rotary Club of Red Wings - near Minneapolis. Some things the same as Warragul RC, others quite different, like the ice fishing competition run each year by the club!!
