19.01.2022 2018 AARCMCC 1/8 GP Offroad National Titles in Maitland. Super pumped is an understatement!!! With the event being rained out for the first 2 days we were unce...rtain if we would even run but we did. After qualifying I started 2nd on the grid for both Buggy & Truggy. Finals were super challenging with the bumpy conditions so I was stoked to podium 2nd in Truggy and 3rd in Buggy. All my equipment was amazing. On both the MBX8 (what a weapon) and the MBX7T I ran Proline Buckshots in X3 and they were totally dialled. Both cars were powered by an awesome combination - Ultimate engines and Nitrolux fuel. Thanks heaps to the committee, members and volunteers at the Maitland club for everything you did to get us racing in very trying circumstances. 17.01.2022 Brady Piggott - Procircuit / Nitrolux Last weekend people from all around Australia and the world traveled long distances for a chance to race at my home club MORBC. What can I say it was an awesome event, it all started on Thursday morning when dad and I arrived at the track to setup our pit area, Thursday would see 2 rounds of practice, I managed to have two great runs in both buggy and truggy which I finished in the top 15, on the buggy I chose to run supper soft claymores..., they were working great on the loose surface. At the end of Thursday we had one qualifying run, I chose to stay on the same set of claymores and again they were working great but a few mistakes on my part saw me end up 17th for the round, Friday we had three rounds of qualifying, I chose to run super soft sprinters in the first round and they work flawlessly allowing me to finish 5th for the round amongst some of the best drivers in the world. After that I just decided to stay with what I knew and ran soft hot dice for the final two rounds ending the day with two mediocre runs had me sitting 17th overall with one round to go. Saturday morning we finished off qualifying with another great run with a 8th overall to secure my spot in the semi with an 11th place overall. Sunday was buggy finals day, in the semi I ran supper soft Addictives, my semi was stacked with world champions, Australia champions and just loads of fast drivers. I had a horrible start when I got punched off at the end of the jump section on lap 2, but I knew it was a long race and anything could happen I drove the rest of the race smooth and clean and found my self in 8th with a couple of minutes to go when someone in the top 5 broke and I finished in 7th, I made the Buggy Amain, I ran soft sprinters because of the dry, dusty and evolving track conditions. This choice payed off at the start where I started 12th and by the first corner I was in 8th, as the race went on I felt the tires wearing out, which affected how the car handled, after the 60 minute long main I had finished in 11th, considering 6-7 of the top drives were Amain contenders at the worlds.

Ultimate Racing presents the FAST-LOCK system for connecting the exhaust pipe to the manifold without the pipe/manifold springs. This FAST-LOCK connecting system is stronger and safer than the traditional springs system, it ensures perfect pipe-manifold alignment and improves engine performance. Assembly and operation is very easy. The manifold is fixed to the pipe by turning a quarter turn. The manifold comes with an inner silicone O-ring and an outer silicone gasket that ensures a perfect sealing. 03.01.2022 2018 IC TOWNSVILLE CUP RACE REPORT The weekend of 14th 15th April saw my home club, Townsville Model Offroad Club, host the annual event known as the Townsvil...le Cup. The event attracted approximately 60 drivers from all over Queensland. Friday was open practice session for 5 hours to allow the traveling drivers some track time on the new layout, with many never attending the event it was great to meet some new friends. 5 rounds of qualifying, each 7 minutes, were run on Saturday with 3 rounds to count towards final qualifying positions. I managed to TQ all 5 rounds of Nitro Buggy and 4 rounds of Nitro Truggy (choosing not to run round 5). My MBX8 Buggy and MBX7TR felt awesome and it showed on the timing sheets. I was the only driver to get into the 36 seconds a lap and banking 12 lap runs. Sunday was finals day. Both finals would be 45mins in duration. In the truggy final I lead from start to finish, eventually finishing 5 laps ahead of second place, with fellow Mugen driver Scott Van rounding out the podium in 3rd. After a slower start in the Buggy final I regained the lead on lap 3 from fellow Mugen driver, Greg West and managed to finish 4 laps ahead of the field by the end of the 45 minute final. The Mugen Seiki team was well represented with 5 drivers making the top 10 in both classes.
