14.01.2022 The 2020 RCRA Australian Quarterscale Titles will be hosted by the Victorian Quarterscale Club. As discussed at the 2019 Australian Titles, this would be the continginsy plan should the Singleton Club not be able to host it.

13.01.2022 Congratulations to the Queensland Quarter Scale Speedway Club for putting on a ripper of an event, as they played host to the 2019 RCRA Australian Quarterscale Speedway Titles over the Easter Long Weekend. An event that would see over 70mm of rain fall over the 3 days. Scrutineering took place on Friday Afternoon and Saturday Morning, this in its self brought up a few issues, with some cars presenting over width and some fail-safe modules incorrectly set, but scrutineers stuc...k to their guns to make sure every car was within the rules, this set a very good precedence for the weekend. Saturday Morning we woke to a very wet and soggy track, however the guys had the track in tip top condition in no time. Only two rounds of heats were completed on Saturday as the day was severely rain affected with showers coming and going all day. Sunday didn't pan out much better with the same weather rearing its ugly head yet again, however we did manage to complete two more rounds of heats and also the B Mains. The Sprintcar A Main was also run and won, but unfortunately that was it the rain hit again just as the Speedcars hit the track, and at this point the decision was made that racing couldn't continue due to both the weather and it was getting late into the night, therefore the results as per the rules for the Speedcar, Late Model, AMCA and Dirt Modified classes were to be determined on the qualifying results as per the RCRA Rules. We now look forward to the 2020 RCRA Australian Quarterscale Speedway Titles. The venue for this event will be announced in the coming weeks.

13.01.2022 Welcome aboard UHROC Ravensworth Quarterscale Speedway to the growing list of affiliated clubs. UHROC is situated just 15 minutes from Singleton. The club also has a Large Scale Off Road track just next door which is part of the RCRA Large-scale Off-Road Section, they hosted the Off-Road Nationals back in 2016... The Quarterscale Speedway Club will play host to the 2019 RCRA NSW Titles in Late October... Stay Tuned for my info !!!

11.01.2022 Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 Coronavirus the VQS Club have decided to reschedule the 2020 RCRA Australian Quarterscale Speedway Titles, we believe this is in the best interest of all involved. We simply aren't willing to take the risk to proceed.

04.01.2022 Could all affiliated clubs please make sure they have their 2 nominated members names forwarded to the secretary before this Thursday, and also any names for nomination for section head... Section meeting will be on Saturday at the Australian Titles.

04.01.2022 All, an update for you all. As promised, the executive have met and discussed the overall stance of RCRA and sanctioned events with respect to government advice. Due to the inability for ALL racers across the country to practice, to attend their clubs and attend events sadly our advice of all sanctioned events being on hold until June 30 still stands. All IFMAR events, including the IC 1/10th worlds in Brisbane, are still indefinitely delayed.... We are hopeful that regular club racing can get back to normal at some stage this year for all racers and once this occurs we can review the national calendar. We remind you that we all have a responsibility to do our part with regards to stopping the spread and we must adhere to government advice as a minimum. This week has seen a number of state and territory governments relax restrictions regarding social gathering - this is wonderful, welcomed news. Numerous locations are now allowing up to 10people to gather in social and non-contact sporting situations. Social distancing of 1.5m spacing and 4sqm per person in covered areas still applies in all instances however. This means *some* clubs will be able to open their tracks for practice days. It will of course depend on individual club circumstances, government advice and council rules.
