24.01.2022 Impact Week students have been learning about the basic anatomy and physiology of horses through chalk drawings on actual horses! They have also been brainstorm...ing ideas and opportunities to assist the Riding For The Disabled Association Australia South West Centre. We would like to thank Megan Midgley at the Stirling Estate Riding Centre and Pat Brown and Sarah George at RDA for the opportunity to run this project with them. See more

14.01.2022 Hi all, We are in need of help. We have two volunteer positions that urgently need filling. No equestrian skills required.... Position #1 Marketing. We need someone who can promote the centre, experienced with marketing initiatives, communications and publicity, management of promotional resources. Position #2 Business Development. Objectives are to research new opportunities, develop new and existing partnerships that will financially benefit the centre. Develop and maintain client relationships, implement strategies for key income streams. For a full job description or further details, please contact us at the centre. Both roles are responsible to the chair and committee and require you to be available to attend board meetings . These roles do entail a 12 month commitment, starting from our next AGM to be held shortly. They are both part time voluntary positions. 03.01.2022 Thank you Harradine and Associates veterinary surgery! A very busy day yesterday at the centre with all ten horses receiving their annual dental check and treatments. We are very grateful for the kindness and care that Harradines provide for us. Also a big thank you to the volunteers who came to help get through such a long day!

01.01.2022 What another great week of riding! Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers. Remember that next week is our last week of rides until we return in 2021. Today we had a little time, so all the horses and ponies enjoyed a tail wash and Mr Chips had a full bath/spa much to his delight. It was lovely to see everyone participating and having a good time. Mr Chips was very happy to get to his paddock after so he could roll in the dirt several times.....
