17.01.2022 The SA Government is developing a QR code to enable businesses to facilitate a touch free mechanism to collect data from customers to enable contact tracing. The code will be mandatory for high traffic businesses and will be supplied free of charge to support the hospitality and events sector in South Australia. The QR code will be distributed as soon as possible through the COVID Safe Plan mechanism.... The use of the QR code provided by the Government of South Australia is mandated where indicated in the COVID Safe Plan, as it means the data can be immediately accessed by the Communicable Diseases Control Branch, and cannot be accessed by anyone else or used for any other purpose. For individuals that do not have a QR compatible device, there will be a secondary ID scanning option available to ensure the contract tracing process is comprehensive.

05.01.2022 In late 2018 RDA Far North partnered with Adelaide Business Hub to roll out the Digital Solutions Program across the region, with the first workshops taking place in early 2019. The partnership has seen various workshops rolled out with great support and patronage of the program from regional businesses. The program includes access to regionally held workshops, online workshops and one-on-one mentorin...g. In the 2019/20 financial year five workshops were held with 60 businesses attending, which equates to 159 hours of delivery. On top of the workshops an additional 182 hours of mentoring was delivered. This one-on-one mentoring has proved invaluable for the businesses and enabled them to focus on areas of particular importance for their business. The rollout of the Digital Solutions Program is continuing in 2020/21 financial year and if you want to find out more, give our office a call on 8641 1444 or visit https://adelaidebusinesshub.com.au/digital-workshops-mentor to find out more about the program and upcoming workshops. Also thanks to Steve Davis from Talked About Marketing for compiling the attached video of some of the success stories. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4kjHbCeVOQ #partnerships #regionsmatter #digitalsolutions #businesssupport #businessgrowth
