24.01.2022 Adelaide Business Hub (ABH) collaborated with RAA travel, local Councils, RDA and tourism organisations to run a series of workshops through the Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo island to assist and mentor tourism businesses affected by the Black Summer bushfires. 6 workshops were held in Kingscote and 5 workshops in the Adelaide Hills - Inglewood, Hahndorf, Macclesfield, Mt Barker and Gumeracha. ABH were able to assist 100 businesses with all taking up the offering for tailored... one-on-one mentoring. With additional funding they were able to top up some mentoring hours and therefore, total delivery of service was 535 hours of assistance through workshop attendance and mentoring. 08.01.2022 The SeaLink ferry Sealion 2000 will be out of service for eight days from Nov. 11 to Nov. 19 after damaging one of its propellers somewhere off Cape Jervis. It...'s not known what caused the damage but SeaLink believes it occurred in deep water, shortly after the ferry departed Cape Jervis one week ago. Anyone booked to travel on the Sealion 2000 on those eight days would be contacted directly by the call centre and offered the closest possible alternative.
