24.01.2022 From midnight tonight the following restrictions apply within South Australia, to limit the transmission of coronavirus.

20.01.2022 Like many of you, our office doors will now be closed for at least 6 days as part of SA’s COVID restrictions. But we wanted to let you know that we will still be working hard for the Limestone Coast. Our staff will be on board and working remotely during the shut down, so please reach out and get in touch if you need support, business assistance, or simply a friendly voice on the end of the phone.... You can call us on 08 8723 1057 or email [email protected].

20.01.2022 Who likes Philadelphia Cream Cheese ? This week some of our staff visited the home of Philly cream cheese, the Mondelez site in Mount Gambier, and experienced first-hand the process of how the much-loved cream cheese and dips are made (complete with very fashionable attire safety first!). As well as making the perfect topping for your morning bagel, the Mondelez Mount Gambier operation plays an important role on our region's economy. For the 2019 calendar year, activity... at the facility contributed $61 million in value add to the combined regional economies of Mount Gambier and District Council of Grant and supported 170 direct and indirect jobs. The factory uses 30 million litres of milk and 8 million kilos of cream annually - all sourced from within a 200 km radius of Mount Gambier. A recent change to the packaging for the Philadelphia cream cheese now sees the new tagline ‘Expertly Blended in Mount Gambier’ proudly displayed so keep an eye out!

04.01.2022 People crossing from South Australia into Victoria now require a permit. Victorian Border Crossing Permits will be issued for travellers based on the locations visited or travelled through in South Australia. These locations are categorised as green, orange and red zones. More information, including a list of the locations currently in the ‘red zone’ is available at https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/south-australian-border-... The 70-kilometre cross border permit arrangements between Victoria and South Australia are still in place. You can display your previous permits or your licence with an address within 70 kms of the border. Those receiving or providing emergency medical care, emergency services or residing on a property that extends across both South Australia and Victoria will also be exempt from the requirement for a permit.

03.01.2022 Hey Local Businesses . Do you need to refresh your ABN details? Updating your Australian business number (ABN) details might be the last thing on your mind, but it's important to keep these contact details up to date in case of a disaster or emergency in your area (remember that gas outage we had just recently.?). Emergency services and government agencies use ABN details to identify businesses in affected areas. If your details are out of date, you risk missing out on important updates, assistance or opportunities such as grants. Check out how you can easily update your details here: https://www.abr.gov.au//updating-o/update-your-abn-details
