25.01.2022 We have Volunteers, horses, participants and programs but none of these would come together to do what we do without our Coaches! Last week with thanks to one of our supporters our Coaches went on a Christmas Hat parade as a thank you day! We had some games along the way, got back to nature fruit picking and lunch in the trees! Thank you to each of our Coaches who contribute to our programs. We are so grateful for the passion and commitment you bring to our Centre! Have a relaxing summer break, looking forward to having you all back on deck in 2021!

20.01.2022 Whipping, trimming, digging, weeding, mowing, planting, watering, building, fencing, cleaning....... There is a lot of work and we would be lost without our volunteers that help with our maintenance around the property. Many thanks to Paul, Florien, Matt, Burnie, Lindsay, Gai, Flo, Fran, Pip, Trish and Karen for spending time keeping our gardens and property neat, tidy and safe.

20.01.2022 10yrs ago today we took a drive to pick up a very special girl... we took a chance on a scrawny little 8yr old mare & who knew how that ugly duckling would grow into the gorgeous girl she is today! Happy Gotchya Day Daphne! Wed be lost without you

20.01.2022 Jack. You were more of a behind the scenes kinda guy, the kind of guy everyone wants in their corner. Slow & steady was your motto & graceful may not have been your style but your eyes were kind & your heart was made of gold. You hated the rain - the way you ran as fast as you could to the shelter at the first drop always got a laugh - but you loved both your 2 & 4 legged friends. Your patience & acceptance was what made you so good at your job, you dealt everything from riders mounting behind the saddle to unexpected exclamations from your anxious & excited riders... The yards will be be much quieter without your expectant chatter hoping that its your turn to go back to your paddock. Wherever you are I hope the grass is green & the fences are few & far between... RIP beautiful boy, you will be missed

16.01.2022 So Nugget just came sulking to me because he stuck his nose in an ants nest... Goodbye 2020, it’s been a wild ride! While it is easy to say we are glad the year is over there are many things we can be proud of ourselves for, first & foremost for adapting to change & getting participants back through the gates & allowing our amazing horses to work their magic It wasn’t perfect, but we dug deep & to the best of our ability & that’s all we can ask for. So bring on 2021, hopefully with less restrictions, less ants nests, & many more smiles Happy New Year everyone!

We have been enjoying the recent beautiful spring weather, although not so much todays installment.... If anyone is keen to pop in and help us with our gardens on Friday mornings, for an hour or two, send us and email Spring has certainly sprung!!!

13.01.2022 Thank you to Natalie, Maddy and Bianca, our Occupational Therapists who have helped us with our CommBank Grassroots grant over the last 3 years. We are so grateful for your contribution and support and we are very proud of the project. This project also incorporated our placement partnership with ACU Occupational Therapy faculty to develop program resources and training for our Coaches on lesson and activity planning.

13.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone!

13.01.2022 Saying goodbye is never easy, but a 15yr relationship is hard to give up. Ozzy spent half of his life teaching his human peers how to live in the moment, to laugh, to trust, to be resilient & above all to love. He even taught a few of his equine peers these things too, there wasn’t another horse he couldn’t be friends be with! While he did enjoy a short retirement he had worked in all of our programs at some point & this pony took a piece of many of our hearts with him when he crossed that rainbow bridge RIP Little Spotty One, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten

12.01.2022 HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! If you would like to join our Zoom party for the horses and see the behind the scenes antics of the Tall Timbers Horse team head over to our events page and get your free ticket, look forward to seeing you online on Tuesday 4th August @ 7pm.

11.01.2022 Do you know someone that loves whipper snipping? What about a keen gardener that would love some fresh air? We need some help to prepare for our summer break and as they say, many hands make light work!!! Our volunteers chip away at our maintenance all year and we would love to give them some time off during the festive season to enjoy it with their families so we thought one last big day of mowing, cutting, snipping will be a great way to finish off the year. Register on the event tab below, hope to see you then
