22.01.2022 The Australian Government is calling for nominations for Chairpersons across all Australian RDAs, seeking highly motivated leaders with vision, drive and passion for regional development. As Chair, RDA Wide Bay Burnett, you will lead your RDA, working closely with the Committee, federal, state and local governments, and key business and industry organisations to directly inform, support and promote the growth and development of your state and region. Applications are sought f...rom business and community leaders who have strong advocacy and negotiation skills and a proven track record of achieving outcomes in complex environments. The successful candidate must be capable of leading the committee, setting the strategic direction and achieving outcomes. The appointment term is on a voluntary basis for 4.5 years. The role is a hands-on role suited to local community and business leaders with expertise and a desire to generate economic opportunities in their region. Women, people from Indigenous and diverse cultural backgrounds and people with a disability are encouraged to apply.
