25.01.2022 So right now where I live we have the joy of being in lockdown! (again) So since I don’t have a job until Saturday , it’s about time I catch up on my Tula epp quilts. So in day 1 of 4 I finished the second block of my #cherishquilt and the first of my #tulasbloomers quilt. So my aim is to finish my #cherishquilt by the end of the week . I’ve only got 18 more to do and I put the shapes on my #cricutmaker to speed up the cutting. 24.01.2022 Done! In our pattern making unit this semester we did draping!! This is a assessment piece and we had 3 pieces to squeeze the garment out. I was trying to get a jacket and came close to it . I wanted to push the boundaries with my piece between elegant and naughty and I feel I got there. If I get the time I may take this drape and reimagine the vision I had. 21.01.2022 So at tafe we had to do an awesome unit where we got to work with a Perth designer and create some designs and get feedback! We got to work with the awesome @jontedesigns to do our task and I’m so proud! I’m so happy with how my designs I’ve dubbed ‘luminate’ features a lace type made out of scrap fabric flatlocked together. I actually might have to put my other 3 epp things on hold to make up a cherish quilt cause it looks so fun. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Christmas and new year. 09.01.2022 Here is block 20 of my #viralhexalong2020 quilt aka my #minimedallions quilt by @faeriesandfibres. I love love love this one so much! The colours are just fantastic and I just can't! I love how different it is to the rest! It has such a contrast to the tree of life one and I miiight even put them together in the final lay up.
