25.01.2022 Happy to be sponsoring the Corinella Classic again this year :)

24.01.2022 Some information that people might find helpful: Notice of proposed fencing works even where no contribution is sought Under the pre-amendment Fences Act, notice was only required where a financial contribution was being sought. If an occupier did not want a financial contribution to the fencing works from their neighbour, they could undertake fencing works without giving notice to the adjoining occupier or seeking the adjoining occupier’s agreement.... The Fences Amendment Act provides that an owner must generally give notice to an adjoining owner before undertaking fencing works, unless the owners have already agreed outside of the Fences Act. There are some exceptions if the works are urgent or the adjoining owner cannot be located. The fencing notice forms the basis for the owners to negotiate and agree about the fencing works. However, you can not go ahead and build a dividing fence or do repairs on a dividing fence unless you either have your neighbour’s agreement or you follow the processes in the Fences Act. If you do not have your neighbour’s agreement, then before you arrange for any work to be done, you need to give your neighbour a notice that contains information about the work you are proposing (fencing notice)." https://www.justice.vic.gov.au//ci/fencing-law-in-victoria

24.01.2022 Exposed post and capped front fence finished to give the owners a bit of privacy. *a permit was needed for this one as 1500 is the allowable height in Bass Coast.

22.01.2022 Heard the saying "when you support a small business, you support their family?" well, this is why we get up each day and do what we do! Our kids. Thanks so much for your continued support, we really do appreciate it so much.

16.01.2022 We have taken a much needed break and found ourselves very close to the fire in Euroa yesterday. We were required to evacuate and we stayed in Shepparton until it the fire was downgraded. We were careful to check that there were no fires before leaving home, but it really shows that you can't tell when and where a fire will break out. We are all in this together! That is the shining light in these most terrible fires, to see how Australians really do look after each other in times of need. We are proud to live in this amazing Country! Thank you to our firies and everyone lending a hand to those people and animals in need.

12.01.2022 People are often surprised when we arrive on the day we booked for them months before. We value good communication and will always advise you if there is a change in plans. Take today for instance; the gusty winds aren't ideal to build fences in, so we have had to reschedule, but I think today has been the only the second day this year that we had to cancel due to poor weather conditions?

10.01.2022 Enjoying the sun and the view in Corinella today :)

09.01.2022 we are at this stage, still open for business. There was some doubt with Dan Andrew's comments about "non-essential" services last night, which made us question if we could even open on Tuesday. Many businesses are closing today. This is a really tough time for everyone. Alisa started a community group for Coronet Bay where neighbours can get together and share resources and support one another. This would still be available for the people of Corinella too. If you would like to join the group, the link is https://www.facebook.com/groups/223233955729833/

06.01.2022 So how are we different? What do you get when you hire us to build your fence? Well, short answer, you get quality! We don't cut corners, every fence is given the same attention to detail. Every post is sunk in 700mm plus into the ground. No exceptions. Each check-out is cut precisely. Every paling/picket is nailed and screwed on correctly (no 3mm overhang on one side and 50mm on the other side) we pay extra money for quality, hand-sorted palings with minimal pith in it that will last longer in our harsh weather. We put centre supports between the posts to support the plinth board from bowing. Our fences are dead straight. We arrive when we say we will, and always provide a friendly service. 03.01.2022 Brush fencing is a natural alternative to timber fencing. As well as looking fantastic, it is a great sound barrier and is maintenance-free. We built half of this fence in Newhaven some time ago and were asked to come back to extend it, so it now runs the length of the boundary.

01.01.2022 Friday funny for you Peter has caused a few fences this week!
