25.01.2022 This morning we are reflecting on how fortunate we are whilst we pack our donations for our Vinnies christmas hamper. Such a great feeling knowing you are making a small difference to someones christmas. We will be delivering to Vinnies in Kingston in the morning. Thank you families for all your donations. 23.01.2022 A sad week for Reaching For Rainbows Child Care. Monday we said goodbye to our faithful four legged friend Zoe. A sad time for all but we take comfort in knowing she had thirteen years full of love and fun times and we have some great memories xx

21.01.2022 We are looking for empty cat and dog food bags or boxes that we can use for our animal hospital that will be taking shape in our dramatic play space next month. If you have anything else that you think we could use please send it along next week. Would be much appreciated

19.01.2022 The last couple of days I have had some special pics sent to me. These are from last years families showing me our friends all ready in their Kinder uniforms. I felt a little teary. My friends looking so grown up but still so little. My advice for families on those first few days of Kinder - pack yourself some tissues and just make sure you loosen the lids on those squeezy yoghurt pouches if adding to their school lunchboxes, they are always a little tricky Cant wait for the first day pics to start rolling in. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2124622734320386&id=265355850247093

16.01.2022 First pics of the year on our public page. Heres a little update of whats been happening. I feel this year will be all about strengthening friendships and gaining confidence for our little friends. What a great start to 2019!!!!

15.01.2022 We have been very busy outdoors this week. Our mornings have been spent in the garden helping prepare for our new cement path and our friends have enjoyed getting dirty with some pots and pans. Inside we have our plastic lids and garbage truck artwork on display and on Tuesday we waited patiently to get a wave from the garbage truck man. We finished off our week today with a special treat birthday cupcakes brought in by one of our lovely mums. Have a great weekend

15.01.2022 After our recent visit to the dogs home we discussed how important the home is in our community. We also spoke about the volunteers that we had seen walking the dogs and how important they are in helping out and voluteering their time. I asked our friends what are some important things that the home might need whilst caring for the dogs and puppies. Zac replied "dog food" and Xander suggested "lots of water." Since our visit there have been several (lots and lots to be exa...ct) requests, "can we go to the dogs home again Emms, can we go now?" So weather permitting we are planning another visit for Tuesday 17th July. Over the next week we will be collecting donations of dog food that our friends will deliver on our visit. I have heard over the last week or so theres been an increase in dogs and puppies so our donation will come at the right time. Ill be posting some reminders early next week. Any donations big or small will no doubt be greatly appreciated. See more

14.01.2022 We look out for all our friends here, even our four legged ones!! Emmy mentioned Raven was feeling very hot. Hudson quickly disappeared into the mud kitchen and returned with a cool water for his friend. "Here go Ravey, make Ravey better." So proud of you my little friend

13.01.2022 Week 2 We finished our week by getting out and about today. It was such a beautiful day to explore. Mr XL had spotted a cannon earlier in the week so we headed back to check it out today. We also spotted a police boat in our travels and the policeman gave his flashing lights a workout for us as he drove past. Here are some pics of our adventures for the week. Have a great weekend xx

13.01.2022 Someone was so happy to see her big friends after school today, waving madly as we pulled into the school collection area. One of the many advantages of family day care - mixing with different age groups in a home like environment

11.01.2022 We have some beautiful Christmas decorations and gifts heading home this week. Putting these together makes me feel so proud of what our little friends have achieved this year. Our last day of care is next Tuesday the 15th December. We still have a few vacancies left for next year so please help to spread the word

07.01.2022 Final day for 2019. We have limited vacancies on Mondays and Fridays for 2020. After today we will be heading to the beach for a well deserved rest but back on board to take enquiries for new enrolments on Monday 30th December. We helped Andrew replace some of the garden mulch that had washed away in the storm and found a few muddy patches around the garden to dig and get dirty Inside we have been creating some art pieces that I will pop up on display over the weekend and our Tuesday friends enjoyed busting out the tunes with a microphone Here are some pics of our week, have a lovely weekend xx
