24.01.2022 Today turned out to be a very different day than what we planned. But where ROBWC and SOTH are needed we will change the day if it needs to be. Ferntreegully and surrounding areas our hearts were with you all. But after receiving more information. We knew where we needed to be. ... It's amazing how just to ask" are you ok" To us it isnt hard to do but for the people who are in the disaster, it means more than we will ever know. A nice hot meal was so much appreciated too. Until you see with your own two eyes, you cannot believe what natural disasters can do. Cars smashed, houses torn in two. Driveways covered with huge trees that have fallen and people cannot get out. Powerlines on the roads Kids frightened to walk out side just in case that tree may fall. Food gone off No electricity, darkness and the cold chill of the night. Well done to the SES and to our amazing police, protecting the community of any possible physical harm with trees fallen etc. Nice to see the water tankers around the suburbs providing clean water for the residents. Watching a community stand by each other in such hard times, was a lovely sight to see. We don't do what we do to get recognition but to see this unexpected post and lovely comments made. It surely does make our hearts smile. If anyone you know needs any assistance please shout out. The 1st photo you see ....under all that, are houses. Hard to see but believe us what a scarey result this could of been. To all the beautiful resident's up there,we pray its not long now till you can feel safe again.

22.01.2022 It's Christmas time... A time of giving. It''s been a really rough year 2020. The number of people we have provided relief for has jumped dramatically.... We have over 1000 individuals we wish to give a Christmas gift too. For most people, it will be the only one they receive. 1000 yes it's HUGE... We don't know if we can get that many gift cards. But my goodness.. WE WILL TRY. So we are asking would you like to give a $25 voucher. Could be one or many. Also if you can, please write a card for your people, givings words of hope. It will be wonderful for them to be able to walk into KMart, Big W or Target, getting something they want...not need. Also parents being able to go in with their children to choose a much wanted gift. We wish we could be a fly on that wall. Seeing those smiles of happiness because someone truly cared. We know these individuals, we have built relationships with each and everyone. Providing either food, clothes or a listening ear but most of all LOVE. We hope you would look within your hearts and maybe, this will be a way you are wanting to give to another. Thank you as always...

21.01.2022 Our first day of moving... What a day it was, starting at 8am and finishing at 5.30. Such a rewarding day watching all ages of volunteers working together to make the day such a successful one. Thank you to every single person who helped in anyway to make this day a memorable one, everything running smoothly and so very exciting.... You guys are amazing and so loyal.... Monica,Vicki,Silvana and her father Alex,Judith and hubby Andrew, Dayna and son Ryan, Robyn, Jenni, Elisa's daughter Sierra and father Arthur, Bree and Elsa. We cannot thank Jorge from.... RIOS REMOVALS.. enough for sending his workers Jorge and Alex and donating their time and trucks. Such wonderful hearts are hard to find. But with the Brazilian Community, we have been blessed meeting many. As always...Servants of the two hearts charity was right beside us, giving their time and spreading their love for others. Something they do so easily. Only 3 days left and we say goodbye to our shed and hello to our factory. We are so excited, we share our excitement with you all. Without a team, volunteers, donators and all hearts combine together. None of this would be possible. This is your journey too ... Yes all of you who have helped or given in anyway. Thank you!!!!

21.01.2022 What would we do without Volunteers? We don't ever want to know the answer to that. All we know is we cannot do without them. Everyone brings something to the charity in one form or another.... The time, effort and love given by these special people, we are so blessed to have such amazing Volunteers at ROBWC AND SOTH. Thank you to each and everyone of you. Without you all none of this would be possible.

20.01.2022 Varin we cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful donation. We were going to put a call out for bags to be written on with you are special. Just in time, we only had a hand full left. This is something we use every single week. Also thank you for the other donations as well. Our callout for rice, flour, tea bags etc has been amazing. Thank you to every single person who has contributed.... The need is HUGE!!!! We can't stop now, we have 100s of people a day reaching out to us, in desperate need. See more

20.01.2022 During these hard times we are trying to reach out to our less fortunate community more than ever before. We have always delivered much needed hot, frozen, fresh foods, pantry items, toiletries and personal hygiene products. But now we have a team just for this everyday. The desperation out there breaks our hearts.... Reaching Out Because We Can (ROBWC) and Servants Of The Two Hearts(SOTH) jointly have 33 volunteers, to whom we are ever grateful ... delivering Emergency Relief and Material Aid to the ever growing numbers over 25 suburbs. We are even feeding our animal friends too. We won't send Elisa out to the homes where there are animals or children. We wouldn't see her for the day. Thank you for the continual support everyone. We are so blessed to have you all.

20.01.2022 This week ohh my goodness it was FULL ON... Reaching out in so many ways and the variety of things that we achieved is so rewarding.... This week without all our volunteers and donators working together, it would of not been possible. Thanking Servants of the two hearts for their unconditional support and efforts. It consisted of.... A new outreach project in Boronia for hot cooked meals, non perishable food bags etc. Getting fitted pallet racking in our factory. Picking up donations and dropping off all sold items on our selling post. Deliverying of furniture to make a house a home. Delivery of items to woman coming out of domestic violence situations. Food deliveries everyday to the less fortunate community. Nights of outreach to our homeless street friends. Government housing deliveries of foods and essentials. Warehouse volunteers organising everything for each outreach project. Also sorting donations and making up the you are special bags filled with non perishable foods. Every week we are noticing the calls and texts are growing extensively for people needing our help. AND THIS WEEK COMING.... Another outreach project we have been working on has been excepted in Springvale. We will be setting up food, clothes and having that listening ear ready to help in anyway possible. We will be reaching out this day to many asylum seekers, refugees, less fortunate families of every nationality and street friends. Please, if you know anyone doing it tough send them down to Springvale Community Centre. We can't be waiting with our usual hugs to meet them but our smiles and love will surely be there. I think it's time for a rest until next week. Keep safe friends, always in our prayers.

20.01.2022 We don't care if you are Australian, Chinese,Indian,Greek, Italian or whatever country you come from. We don't care if you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or whatever religion you are. What doesnt matter is race, gender, age or religion.... But what comes from the heart. Is all that matters in the end.

20.01.2022 The Saturday just gone was a very rewarding day . Our 5 volunteers from Robwc and SOTH Gary, Eli, Edson,John and Dean. Helping in one way or another. Some travelling around the suburbs collecting donated furniture.... Others spending the day making 3 houses a home finishing it off with much needed items that our less fortunate friends have asked for. Without such devoted loyal and trust worthy volunteers such as these 5 we could not do this type of giving. We cannot Thank them enough for their time and support. Just one example of our clients that we fill houses for... Imagine as a parent, you need to leave a domestic violent situation at your supposedly safe home. It's scarey living in the surroundings and a choice is needed to be made to leave. The day arrives, you now have a case worker, living in emergency accommodation until a house is found for you and the children. Yes at last you are all safe. BUT YOU ONLY HAVE THE BAGS YOU LEFT WITH. Pillow and blankets have been found for you and the kids. So eventually you can close those tired eyes and rest that mind. You look around and tears flow continually Thinking to oneself...I am safe But I have nothing. A scarey thought that's for sure. Having a fresh start sounds so exciting and being free from abuse is definetly were you and the kids need to be. But sleeping on the floor wasn't even in a thought that entered your mind. No fridge No washing machine Not even a toaster or a kettle. These things are essentials These families have been through enough. Of course they need a house but also THEY NEED A HOME. We are so grateful to all the amazing donators out there. When we post our needed items for a house we are needing to fill. Texts, phone calls and messages come in one after another. Within a couple of days we are ready to make our clients/our friends a new home. We know it's going to take time for the healing to be complete but we are so glad we could be there at the beginning of the life changing process.

20.01.2022 WE HAVE EVERYTHING TO MAKE ANOTHER HOUSE A HOME TOMORROW. THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!!!!! You are all truly amazing We are now only needing a...... 19.01.2022 Due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to go ahead with our sale this weekend and have had to cancel the event. We are sorry about this but we thank you for your ongoing support!

19.01.2022 Everyday we are seeing more and more people are needing our help out there. From every culture, age, men ,woman, families, students, refugees and the homeless. Mental health issues have risen dramatically and the amount of domestic violent cases have blown out of control.... We hear from so many people... I cannot believe this could of ever happened to me. Who would of thought my husband and I would loose our jobs at once. I am so depressed I am unable to do the things I used to do. I can't get to the shops as my anxiety is so bad Where am I going to get the money to feed my family? I can afford to pay the rent to keep a roof over my kids heads...but that's it. It totally breaks our hearts, times have been tough for many over the years. But today the embarrassed cries for help is the worst we have ever seen. We believe its going to get worst before it gets better. NOW....it's like what they say "what doesnt break you makes you stronger." Well we hope and pray many won't break before they see the strength they have within. If you know of anyone that needs assistance please reach out for them. As many are either to embarrassed or even ashamed. We told one our less fortunate friends out there....we all need help sometimes. And for her family, the time is now. She cried and now allows us to help them every week.

18.01.2022 Today was a very exciting day for a lot of us. A long time in the making... Working together has made this possible....Continue reading

18.01.2022 Well the news we were not really wanting to hear but knew it wasn't to far away. JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW... We will still be working through the lockdown period to help wherever we are needed. We now have the storage!!!!... After being blessed with 2 factories we are now ready with whatever that is going to be thrown our way. Limited donations will still be excepted. Used towels, facewashers and tea towels Men's clothes Noodles in foam cups Up and go Little pull ring tuna Lollies Small bags of snacks Coffee Teabags Any non perishable food Zip lock bags(27cmx35cm)with written" you are special" on them. Gift cards and money donations would be much appreciated at this time. Address Factory 22 63-71 bayfield road east Bayswater nth 11am-2pm Or 19 Burnham Cre Keysborough Lockdown is a word that means more than just stay home... Many will feel... ISOLATED LONELY SCARED WORRIED DEPRESSED Many will have.. ANXIETY NO JOBS NO MONEY Some will have.. NO FAMILY NO FRIENDS to help them. Please lookout for one another... Your neighbour may not know how to ask for help. Your family might be looking like they are doing ok....but please stop to really look. Friends maybe smiling to hide that fear. Children are trying to understand it all. So many uncertainties for all of us. But to ask are you ok? It's only 3 words but those 3 words could make such a difference to ones world. Please remember us, if you know someone in need, we are here to help. No judgement, total confidentiality. We cannot hug you personally. But a huge hug is being thrown your way. From all of us to YOU. Please stay safe!!!!!

18.01.2022 We are all over Melbourne trying to bring a little hope and lots of love to our street friends. Yesterday was a reality check of what really goes on in the minds of our friends out there. We just do what we think would help our less fortunate community. ... Coming into our factory was a person who was doing something for us. We were talking for a while and he looks up at our sign and goes" no way". Not understanding what it was about, we just looked away and didn't think much of it. But a little later , he shows us a picture. It was his cousin who had past away 3 weeks ago. We gave our sincere condolences but that face looked so familiar but still had no idea what he was thinking. He went outside again and looked at our logo. Walking back in, he says" I thank you for looking after my cousin all these years" Over the last few months as we all know, funerals have been only able to have maximum of 10 people. So his cousins funeral was filmed and watched by all extended family and friends. This gave me goose bumps when he explained the rest...my cousin was one of your homeless street friends that you took under your wing. His last wishes were to thank... Reaching Out Because We Can for never giving up on him and helping him through the toughest days of his life. Our logo was on that film, thanking us for caring for him. Omg tears roll down my face as I write this post. And we think what we do is not enough and always wanting to do more. To the last day....we were remembered and thanked. To us, we have done exactly what we have intended to do..... BRING LOVE TO EACH AND EVERYONE. I will never forget this reality of ones life. When he had given up on oneself, we gave him hope. When he felt he was useless, we bought him love. When he felt invisible, we made him seen. Rest in peace our friend... We are so sad your life was ended so early. But we are so glad we could help you, know you and we were remembered to the end. Thank you for trusting us!!!!!

17.01.2022 Thank you to everyone that has texted and has offered us a couch. We have one... As always you people are amazing. Hello to you all.... Hope you are keeping safe and doing ok in these crazy times. We are after a 3 seater couch and 2 arm chairs. Thank you as always.

17.01.2022 THANK YOU EVERYONE THIS HOUSE IS READY TO BE FILLED. WE HAVE ALL ITEMS NOW. Hi to you all out there. Hope you are keeping well and staying safe.... We are filling another house making it a home. Already we have seeked out nearly everything this mother and 3 children need.. Just left is... 2xdesks(1 found) 2xchairs (2 chairs found) 1x rug(found) Please let us know if you can help this family. Thank you greatly.

17.01.2022 Would you like to get your family involved? During lockdown what a wonderful way to do so. Year after year our packing of these much needed items have grown. ... BUT NOW... We are finding it hard to keep up. Families are in desperate need of feeding their children with just the basics. These are the ways you can help us to bring much needed items to 1000s. Buy rice, flour, lentils, sugar, tea bags or coffee. Get medium sized zip lock bags.( the size up from sandwich) Start packing as many as your heart desires. It maybe 10 bags or more. Whatever you can afford to donate will be much appreciated. I can see the smiles already from our families in need. If you choose to do such a rewarding thing to help. Please make sure everyone that gets involved wears masks and gloves. Thank you to you all... Stay safe!!!

17.01.2022 Without the continual support of our amazing donators. We couldn't be reaching out as much as we are doing, in these really tough times. Thank you just doesn't seem enough. Kylie Randall your heart is every so caring and so big for the less fortunate out there. Leanne and Elaine the support you give by buying items for the you are special bags and then making them up and deliverying. We thank you so much for your kindness.... Melody making 45 masks was such a special thing to do. Thank You!!! Antonia Anton thank you for the food donations. We are so greatful having people like you who are truly so kind. Reaching out for another is a special and heart warming thing to do. Maybe today is the day to look within your heart and find that one that's need that little support from you. I hope it makes you feel just as good as them.

16.01.2022 Remember our friend who's runners were 2 sizes too big,had no socks and sores all over her heels. Last week we gave her a new pair of runners, that fitted perfectly plus new thick socks that were warm and cozy. She said last night "she has never owned such comfortable shoes in her entire life." You could see the happiness in her eyes.... The thing that really stood out to us was her whole total being had changed, she walked happily no dragging her feet along to keep those shoes in place. No more rubbing on those heels, which bought her such grief INSTEAD NOW.... She walked proud with ease. The smile now was a real one with such gratitude for all of us. Moments like this, is why we do what we do. Bringing dignity to another is something everyone deserves. Living on the streets, this is lost. A feeling of uselessness and helplessness brings insecurities and a feeling of defeat. Yes we bring food for our friends out there but we realise we bring so much more. Last night one of our volunteers came after set up. They were greeted by one of our friends of the streets. Smiling from ear to ear....yells out to our volunteer. I helped out tonight setting up and bringing up the boxes. It was a moment of togetherness, bringing a person who felt different, felt invisible and unloved. TO A PERSON.... Who was recognised for their willingness to help. Not just a homeless person. An individual who has a name. They were proud, but for us another moment we will always remember..... We bought a name to the face that so many just walk on by....forgetting they have a heart too.

16.01.2022 Ok here we go ready for our reach out tonight. We love what we do!!! Can't wait to see our friends.

15.01.2022 WOW OHHHH WOW... What an amazing effort Stephanie Keele. We met Stephanie at our Christmas Party last Year. ... She was working and asked us a few questions about the charities. As we always do, we love speaking about how people reach out in different ways plus giving of their precious time. A phone call was received and Stephanie needed 200 hours of community service for work placement for her schooling. She has been with the 2 charities ever since. Giving her many opportunities to see the variety of the outreach we do over 27 suburbs. She has fitted in so easily. When you see a young lady taking this type of initiative you know she is doing the exact course she needs to be in, where her heart lies. When reaching out to ask others to donate can be quite daunting but the enthusiasm and happiness she showed was priceless. It's a very special trait to have. She has collected and delivered all this today and also collected $170 to be spent at Costco for much needed sugar and zip lock bags. FROM ROBWC AND SOTH CHARITIES.... WELL DONE TO YOU STEPHANIE FOR SUCH AN AMAZING EFFORT. Also.... THANK YOU SO MUCH TO STEPHANIE'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR THEIR KINDNESS TOWARDS OTHERS. Also remember, lots of little things add up to many.

15.01.2022 With the amazing donations coming in we are lost for words. We cannot Thank you enough for your continual support for the less fortunate friends out there. The amount of pick ups we have had this week has truly blown us away. We cannot take photos of every single thing we pick up. But please know we are so grateful for your kindness.... Thank you to Maria and her children for packing rice and teabags. We love it when kids get involved, a wonderful way of spreading the love. See more

14.01.2022 Homelessness... A unit that the Holmesglen Glen Waverley students have been looking at this semester. Something which is very close to our hearts.... They wanted us to come and have a chat with the students. Each person in that class had a budget to buy some hygiene products for our homeless friends out there. It was lovely to see that in those bags some looked out the square and put in a journal, pens and soft toys. In each bag they wrote a little something to a person that will receive the items. Holding back the tears, they were read. THANK YOU TO THE WONDERFUL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS.

12.01.2022 Today was our last pick up from Pelligreeno's, High street rd Wantirna sth. The cage will not be available anymore for drop offs. Our address is on the main page for drop off in Bayswater. Meeting you today was such a pleasure. Rex reminded us to keep posting what we need. We sure will, if everyone could look within their hearts to give to another. What an amazing world this would be. Stay safe, stay strong and remember life is tough but you are tougher. Hugs to you all.

I have never been so emotional while working a long side such beautiful, selfless people. Giving of their time without a thought of wanting to be anywhere else. 04.01.2022 Life can be so tough... There has always been lots of challenges out there, of course. But with the high levels of stress at the moment with loss of jobs, money shortage, covid19 pressures ,the uncertainties of what tomorrow will bring. We have never seen so much depression, sadness, loneliness, anger and all the negative emotions. ... Day after day we are faced with our own challenges of hoping we will beable to help the next family or individual. Not knowing will there be enough food to go around, will there be enough gift vouchers to handout to more people than ever before. Will we beable to reachout quick enough to our less fortunate friends before it's to late. At this time of uncertainty... One thing we definetly know for sure... We have enough LOVE to go around. Really there is nothing more important and more special ,than feeling loved. We see that everyday.

04.01.2022 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET INVOLVED WE CAN PICK UP FROM YOU!!!! When picking this up, it was so beautiful to see the absolute genuine joy which was found on this gorgeous girls face.... Her mum Carly and friends bought and collected items for many toiletries bags to be packed by this special girl. Her efforts, time and kind heart will be much appreciated by families, individuals and children. Thank you for the food also. We are still blown away with such a caring and kind gesture. It's so lovely to see people looking within their hearts and wanting to give to others. Allowing children to be a part of such a rewarding act of giving. If you or your family would like to join in with Carly's daughter's act of kindness. We have 2 ways you can join your children in to understand the meaning of helping people in need... 1. 03.01.2022 You know how much I love sharing with you all. As this is not just my journey...but ours. We help over 1000 people a week, in one way or another. And Yes we are so glad we can.... But this week was a real wake up call. Realising numbers aren't important, of course the more we can help the better. BUT This week on 2 separate occasions,in 2 different suburbs ,20 mins apart. I am sitting in the cafe , I see a man waving with the biggest smile. Looking so happy. I looked around to make sure that wave was for me. It certainly was. Went outside and yes I knew that face. But it wasn't the same person I met over a year ago. The person I knew was lonely, insecure, hungry and needed clothes from head to toe. Had no home and was lost and sad. He looked like a different person but I definetly knew the face. I waited for him to start the conversation and after 2 mins of speaking yes I knew it was him. I don't forget a face as every individual is just as important as the next. He had changed and I mean totally.. Now has a home and even has friends. Lizzy lizzy he says come and meet my friend. Lizzy isn't my name I said. He said does it really matter, I remembered your face and will never forget your heart. Robwc saved my life..you gave me hope again. You fed me You dressed me You listened when I was ready to open up. You saw me, not that homeless man on that street. When I went back inside that cafe, I sat quietly for a few minutes and said..wow. Yes it takes someone to hold hands of another and say YOU CAN DO IT... BUT ITS THE INDIVIDUAL THAT SHOULD BE SO PROUD OF THEMSELVES. Out for dinner as we could. Enjoying the food. Saying to myself it must be the week of reminiscing. Outside waiting for her takeaway I see that face that I knew so well. We helped her when no one wanted to. She left an abusive relationship and was left all alone. Yes she had a roof over her head which most people would think she is doing ok. But she was broken in so many ways.... Confidence shattered Loneliness caused depression Scared of facing the world alone Over the 6 months we helped her with anything we could materialistic wise and spent lots of time on that chair talking to her. We saw her grow. She found herself, found a job and we couldn't of been happier for her. But last night, no she didn't see me but I saw her. My heart was filled with happiness once again....she was wearing her uniform , same as we saw her in 18 months ago. She still has that job, ordering takeaway on her own( she couldn't even leave her house at that dark time of her life) She looked happy, the darkness has lifted and I could see....SHE WAS FREED. Tears have filled my eyes this week. Please never underestimate what you can do for another. Reach Out, you could be the only person who does.

03.01.2022 We love making lives that little bit easier. Life can be tough at the best of times but lately we are seeing more people in need than ever before. We are so blessed to be working along side Servants of the two hearts. Deliverying food over 28 suburbs.... Everyday the list grows of how many people we are reaching out to. The relief on the faces when they open that door. Knowing that food has arrived. It must be such a scarey feeling, that without that delivery, they could not feed their families that week. People ask us...is it really that bad in Australia? Well we will tell you ...that over 1500 people we help out in one way or another, in one week. Yes Australia is that bad. Many people at the moment, just have enough money to keep the roof over their heads and pay the bills. Yes food is essential but the money cannot reach that far.. Our hearts are warmth by the fact....without any judgement, we are here for them in such hard times. Gee it feels nice that we can be...

02.01.2022 THANK YOU THANK YOU & THANK YOU Yes we deliver the much needed items to our less fortunate community out there. Emily your eagerness to buy the food and make up our you are special bags for our street friends out there. It has really hit a soft spot to many. Please keep that smile and giving heart always. You are special. Thank you to her parents for the support. Thank you to the Hallam school breakfast club for a generous donation of canned items. YES WE WILL STILL BE HERE FOR OUR LESS FORTUNATE COMMUNITY. GIVING AND CARING FOR THEM, AS ALWAYS... WITH OUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND SUPPORT.

01.01.2022 The donations that are coming in are just amazing. We wish we could take a photo of every single lot that comes into the charity. But it would be impossible. Please anyone that can assist with food, the community out there would be so appreciative. The covid19 has left so many families and individuals asking for food and many are on the verge of homelessness.... The pain we feel for these people is indescribable day in day out we are getting phone calls crying out for help. Thank you Dianne and her family, when our volunteers opened the car boot. They were blown away with such a variety of much needed food items. Thank you for caring for others and reaching out to them. Such kindness!!!! Another delivery that arrived last Saturday. Safeway food truck delivered to us, organised and paid for. We cannot thank Kylie enough for continual deliveries, having so much love for others. The support needed in such hard times.
