"Homelessness is a growing issue in the Latrobe Valley and women over 50 represent a significant proportion of this group, often due to domestic violence. This project will provide safe, stable and affordable accommodation for 6 women on the edge of the Morwell CBD. Im building a fully accessible/wheelchair bathroom, custom made r...amp rails, ramps, widening door ways and fitting bigger doors." 13.01.2022 The Hub is currently seeking a group of up to ten youths aged 13 to 25 to form a renewable energy working group. With support from our energy experts, participa...nts will work together to come up with a meaningful renewable energy project/s in their local area which the Hub will provide funding of up to $10,000 to develop. Participants will also be sponsored to attend a Climate Change Education Forum in Melbourne in July, which will bring together government agencies, education providers and students focusing on climate change education strategies and coaching around how to empower youth voices. Applicants must live in the Baw Baw, Latrobe City or Wellington Shires. Applications close the 23rd of June, 2019. For more information or to apply for this program please email [email protected].

Pollyanna picked up her camera and photographed over a 1000 Gippslanders to show regardles...s of the laws the rainbow community and the youth, they are loved and supported. These photos were 2 years before the postal vote was announced Pollyanna and her team launched the 'I Do' campaign in response to the vile community debate around this basic human right. 'I do' went on to become a pivotal movement in Gippsland's history. Postal votes seem to be a theme for changing the future! See more
