18.01.2022 To all our valued ReActive customers, We want to assure you that we are taking extended measures to ensure the safety of you all, by disinfecting each piece of equipment after each use and maintaining overall cleanliness of the gym/facilities. What we ask of you in this time is to please bring your own gym towel, wash your hands regularly and of course, for the safety of everyone else using the gym - if you notice you have flu like symptoms, avoid the gym for a little while!... Thanks, The ReActive team.

18.01.2022 Fair to say, we've been converted to @semelbphoenix fans after tonight's game in Traralgon... You're littlest fan couldn't contain her excitement after!

17.01.2022 The warm-up - reduce the risk of injuries and develop movement skills.. A no brainer, right?

16.01.2022 **Use your isolation time wisely!** Didn't have a strong pre-season fitness regime? Did you have the "I'll start pre-season next week" mentality? Now is the perfect time to work on/maintain your aerobic capacity! In the first image, you can see the effects of detraining (losing fitness) over time. What I would like you to pay attention to, is the light green line - your VO2 max. This is a measure of fitness and as you can see, it drops off very quickly! Within a month of det...raining, you can have a loss of up to 20%.... The second image explains detraining in a more easy to digest way. Whilst everyone is concerned with maintaining muscle and strength, if you're a field/running based athlete (e.g. soccer, hockey, tennis, AFL, netball ect.) fitness is arguably MORE IMPORTANT vs. strength during this time. Use your isolation time wisely!

16.01.2022 Big shout out to Olivia @lawsoffitnesspersonaltraining for making the sea change and jumping in on the ReActive action! Lookout for for her from this Monday onwards

01.01.2022 As painful as it is to have to report *again*, it appears the virus is here to stay for a bit longer! We will be business as usual (mostly) until Wednesday, 11.59pm then we shut the doors as per the Premier's orders. We are shattered - the covid-19 pandemic has taken a toll, but we will battle on. Make sure you continue to shop local where possible to help little businesses just like us stay alive! Now, for the next three days there are a few changes for gym goers - you will ...need to wear a mask upon entry and exit of the gym, but not whilst exercising. There are now four things to remember; sanitise hands on entry, sign in, bring a bath towel and wear your mask. Bring on #iso2point0
