16.01.2022 My Personal Collection: Not every book that lands in my lap is for selling. Some books hold sentimental value, not only to me, but to friends and family who have entrusted me with books that have captured their hearts. It’s difficult at times when people ask for a particular book that I know I have in my personal collection, but I don’t have a copy I am willing to part with. ... Often people are asking for a book that not only has a story within its pages, but a personal story that is just as magical that rekindles fond memories for the person wishing to find it. I will always do my absolute best to find any book that has captured someone’s heart, because to me, that’s what books are all about. Here are some photos of the amazing books I have in my personal collection. Many of these books captured my young heart and played a significant role in captivating my soul in books and stories of all kinds. Many of these books played a similar role in the lives of friends and family - I always feel so privileged to be trusted with keeping a book safe for someone - they’re essentially placing a small piece of their heart in my care.
