19.01.2022 I was hoping my rash shirt would last till Santa arrived. Not only do I wear one for sun protection, I wear it to help increase children's independence. When I ask a child to push off the wall or platform you will notice I have my arms open and encourage them to swim to my rash shirt and grab it to breath. That helps them with their breath control. 19.01.2022 That's Ready Go Swim School for another term. Thank you to all my clients for these gifts I feel so spoilt. The pearl bracelets were hand made for my step daughters to wear at my wedding next year and how cool is the drink bottle? I've never owned anything with my name on it haha. I also want to say that I am so proud of all my swim kids they progressed so much this term and I have loved watching them grow in confidence and become safer in the water. 18.01.2022 I moved the office today. Thank you to everyone who's booked in, I'm starting to write up lesson plans today. I've been a swim teacher for 17yrs and can easily jump into any class and teach it, yet I love to create lesson plans. Not only do I create them around their level I try design them where they'll help the individual. Lucky I keep my classes small! 17.01.2022 Hello Thursday swimmers. I've been at the pool all morning teaching preps and Yr 1s the waters ok but it is cold when you get out. Also keep an eye out for storms as I'm teaching the whole day today. I will do lessons in the rain but any lightning and it will be cancelled. Let's hope the storm goes around us.

16.01.2022 Have you noticed the new signs up for Ready Go Swim School? Adults please make sure the children are stopping at the front gate and asking permission before entering. My boys are 10 & 8 and strong swimmers. If they kick their ball over into the pool area, they still need to ask permission to enter. I'm ranting now but whenever there's a drowning, social media are quick to say swimming lessons are essential. In my experience of teaching it takes alot of work to get a child to ...confidently be able to save themselves. So yes swimming lessons are essential but first must come education! Educate them that before entering any type of water they must have asked an adult. Teach them to not only love the water but fear it also.
