25.01.2022 We are so excited that 'Eat Local: Food, Farming and Conversation in the Scenic Rim' is heading off to Sydney next week! Co-authors, Brenda Fawdon and Christine... Sharp are taking the book to Sydney as presenters at the Food & Words Writers' Festival. They’ll be sharing the stories of our local farmers, growers and makers, and talking about how they came to co-author a cookbook all about the food and farmers of our region, contracted by the Scenic Rim Regional Council to further the aims of Scenic Rim Eat Local Week. There are some absolutely amazing food writers featured on the program including Luisa Brimble, Sarah Glover and so many more. A place for food, art and nature, the development has been environmentally and sustainably designed by Sonja Drexler. NORTH STORES will house a thoughtfully curated group of shops and spaces, including our new eatery and takeaway, PICNIC. Looking forward to seeing you on the mountain soon.

08.01.2022 In 2015 when we sold Mondo Organics, our beloved restaurant, cooking school and catering business in Brisbane, we’d already starting dreaming into our next venture a regional food concept supporting local farmers and producers. We looked for the ‘right’ location for months, mostly around the valleys of the Gold Coast hinterland because we were determined to build from the ground up. Then a large block on Main Street on Tamborine Mountain became available, not far from home.... Perfect!
