20.01.2022 Firstly, this is not about taking any political position or opposing any ideology, but it is interesting to look at what the talk of playing with negative gearing policy by any political party at any time may have on property values, employment and rents... Please have a look at the following video and link that describes in more detail and if you have any questions or comments, please contact me...I am be keen to hear your thoughts. https://negativegearingaffectsyou.com/... http://www.propertyobserver.com.au//53247-negative-gearing

06.01.2022 Would be interested to hear how business owners are handling the Telstra outages on mobile services...it is very difficult when you cant dial out nor retrieve voice messages, but local Toowoomba businesses that rely on mobile service to facilitate their business operations must be pulling their hair out.

03.01.2022 If you look at this intersection (Neil & Margaret Sts) today you can see how some things are the same but many others have changed.

03.01.2022 We all live here but our city has a rich history. For example, did you know theres a story behind the names of our main streets? James, Ruthven, Herries, Ma...rgaret and Hume are names associated with an incident in Scottish History known as the Gowrie Conspiracy. Ironically, the nearby Gowrie Station, from which the idea of the names probably came, had no Scottish connections but it is thought to take its name from a fresh-water mussel.

03.01.2022 Great day for Toowoomba, opening up the region to the world...

02.01.2022 Tax Reforms It will be interesting to see where the burden will end up with the Government squibbing and taking GST off the table in the quest for tax reform. No doubt "Negative Gearing" will be firmly in the cross-hairs but this is fraught with danger...does anyone else think that tinkering with this will choke investment, and in turn, stifle jobs growth, housing construction and future infrastructure projects. Yes...It is time for tax reform, but it is also time for spending reform from Governments to balance the equation.

02.01.2022 Come down and have a look around the CBD to support the CBD businesses and also walk around the Margaret Street Markets that are located in the Toowoomba City Centre, and take place on the 1st Sunday of each month, from 8am to 2pm.
