25.01.2022 Today, Courtney really enjoyed showcasing some of his Really Useful Recycler paperart and demonstrating some of his work skills to the APM staff; parents, students and staff from Castlereagh School; other Microenterprise owners and MEP staff.

25.01.2022 Just a reminder that Courtney will be at the Perth Makers Market this Sunday at the Heathcote Cultural Precinct, Applecross. These are some of the bowls (perfect for keys, coins, lollies etc.) that have just been finished today and are ready to go along with many other fantastic pieces. Hope to see you there!

It was a celebration for the opening of the new Valued Lives Girrawheen Microenterprise Hub - it was great to see familiar people and meet new people who were very interested in seeing Courtneys skills in action - we hope to see some new FB Page Likes and followers in the coming days Oh and crikey the cake was YUMMO!!

25.01.2022 Courtney's artwork will be featured at the Colourful Cultures exhibition! After an exciting opening event this coming Friday evening, the exhibition will run the following Monday - Friday. We'd love for you to tag us in any photos you get if you make it to these and other stunning pieces in person.

23.01.2022 Courtneys friend Nancy is hosting an Open Garden on the weekend of 28th and 29th September in East Fremantle - 10am - 2pm. Nancy has great enthusiasm for reducing chemicals in our lives and has proven anyone can have a healthy and productive home garden. She is very generous in sharing her skills and knowledge on these open garden days. Nancy has invited Courtney and Really Useful Recyclers to have a table at her Open Garden event. Courtney will be demonstrating his RUR pa...perart skills and will have some items for sale too. We would love to hear from anyone who would like to volunteer to help out for any or all of the time on the two days. There are a variety of things we need help with. 19.01.2022 Courtney recently completed an order for our friends at Brandon's Shredding Boxes. Brandons business shreds papers for the community and recycles it into amazing paper mache creations. Just one of the projects - a veeeery long name with 9 letters - and to keep the special secret we used just a few letters to make this other name for this post. ... 10.01.2022 A master craftsman!! Just one step in the process - Courtney is rolling biscuits that are being made into Christmas trees. Prior to this step, newspaper has been cut into long strips, rolled onto dowel to make a straw, flattened and then several straws are pegged together. All these steps Courtney has completed before this step in the video. Anyone who has had a go rolling the biscuits KNOWS how difficult it is - here Courtney makes it look easy!!

We were visiting to present AutismWest CEO Louise Sheehy and Programs and Volunteers Coordinator Trudi-Anne Gribble with a wonderful donation of $400 from visitors to Nancys Open Garden on 27th and 28th September. Thank you so much to everyone who came along to learn from Nancy and also to support Autism West with a donation.
