To buy the bread come up the ramp in the driveway (or as i affectionately call it, Bread alley...lol). No orders this week as I need to see how it all goes. 09.01.2022 Here's the perfect way to get your artful hands warm this morning.....begin your exhibition creation! Let's Celebrate! Let's create a community exhibition! To signal the rollback of Lockdown 2.0, I propose we get creative. I am offering all the opportunity to contribute something (which fits inside a 30cm cube) that shows how you feel now about your future. I will then put each item together as an exhibition at REAL. It might be a postcard, a poem, a sculpture or a pot plant.... Opening night will be Saturday the 3rd of October, 5pm with social distancing parameters. Exhibitors will be able to swap their exhibition ticket for a glass of sparkling water and a mini pizza. It will also be the launch of the REAL web site, www.realpizzapastasalads.com.au where you can learn about our food preparation workshops, our pay it forward scheme and how we aim to link to community. To contribute all you need to do is submit your item to REAL (25 Lord Street, Port Campbell) by Friday 2nd of October, 12.30pm. I am hoping that the exhibition will be set up for viewing for a few weeks. Looking forward to seeing what we can create. Xx

Once restrictions apply after midnight on Wednesday we will be Open every evening from 5pm for takeaway Pizza and Pasta BUT...hold the phone....we will be open for one pre-restriction dine-in evening on Wednesday night. A wander through The Place of Wonder edible garden will give a little insight into what it takes to grow food and hopefully grow your appreciation for the input involved in each ingredient. Further on our wander, you will be exposed to ways in which organic materials can be managed to... recycle their nutritional value, once again encouraging an appreciation for lessening food waste and packaging. It's all happening...we have been filming...and yes i have been talking (lots)...lol! How does the Video version work?... Register with CCH (see below). Then at the end of the week we collectively Zoom to talk successes, failures, hints and where to from here. First up...Fresh Cheese making then a week later Beginners Sourdough. 01.01.2022 Flashback to the Week of Tastes with Timboon P-12 last month! As part of the Week of Taste experience at Timboon P-12, I was invited to show over 70 year 3/4 students how to prepare cabbage in three different ways. Each dish used a different paired ingredient and a different cooking technique. We spoke about growing cabbage, cooking with it, what it tasted like and the different sensory experiences. The dishes were tasted, votes were cast on their favourite and lots of ques...tions and information was shared too! The Week of Tastes is aimed at teaching students how to recognise and appreciate taste through sensory exercises, language development and interacting with a local food professional.
