16.01.2022 Activate muscle memory through accurate virtualised train consoles to achieve training outcomes. The goal of all training, including technical skills training, is to convey information that learners will store in long-term memory. According to a research conducted by the Institute of Psychology in Osnabruck University, VR experiences outperformed 2D videos in the memory retention test, more significantly in the long term memory, because VR experiences become part of the auto...biographical memory. #realseriousgames #virtualreality #vrtraining #ausrail

05.01.2022 SkillsTech and Real Serious Games collaboratively ran Virtual Reality sessions to introduce students to real-life applications of Risk Management in Tafes classrooms at Acacia Ridge. Foundation Unit students from areas as diverse as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, automotive and engineering took part in the sessions. The learning kicked off with students understanding the concepts of Hazard, Risk and Control in an immersive 360 virtual world experience. ... Students then had the opportunity to apply these concepts by interacting with accurate real-work scenarios where they performed a risk and hazard identification exercise in an interactive, room space experience. Real Serious Games and Exner Education are building a suite of education and training products allowing students to learn experientially in safe and accurate virtual worlds. The Maker Project is supported by the Victorian Government.
