25.01.2022 Heres what the recent intersection closure of Dohertys and Fitzgerald road looked like on our end. RTT assisted the project team to minimise the projects impact on road users by monitoring live traffic conditions. Live travel information was on display via our VMS network to inform road users of travel times as well as detours/alternative routes.... RTTs Wi-Fi and temporary CCTV devices proved to be a great combination in assisting traffic signal management, along with our Realite platform bringing all the data together in the back end. Continuous infrastructure improvement is hard work and thats why were doing our best to make things less stressful for everyone (operators and commuters). It not only helps us to monitor bus movements in real-time but also to predict where and when they are going to be next with high precision. 07.01.2022 One of the most common questions we get from our customers is why we use drones for some of our surveying projects instead of more conventional methods. So heres why; - Drones give us a top-down, usually unobstructed and detailed view of the area we are working in.... - We use it for site planning, site progressions and safety improvements. - But most exciting of all, by combining the drones view and our camera view, we can create a 3D model of the intersection. - This allows us to apply Augmented Reality principles to our video footage and extract information about traffic movements easily.
