Victoria Arlen was eleven years old when her health suddenly deteriorated and put her into a vegetative state. Two years later she woke up on the inside. Trapped inside her motionless body she would say over and over in her mind ‘This is NOT how my story ends’... Three years after her body shut down, she was able to open her eyes and slowly learned how to speak, move and eat again. Nearly ten years after going into a vegetative state, she took her first steps without assistance. She now no longer needs the wheelchair or crutches. 13.01.2022 WORD 4 TODAY: LAUGHTER Laughter is a powerful tool for relieving stress and even saved a young man’s life One day, comedian David Brenner was signing books. A young man handed him a newly purchased copy to be signed and said, ‘I want to thank you for saving my life.’ Without giving it much thought, Brenner replied flippantly, ‘That’s okay.’... But the young man stood his ground and said, ‘No, I really mean it!’ Brenner stopped signing and looked at him. The young man continued: ‘My father died. He was my best friend.
