25.01.2022 ? In my opinion, there are some easy steps to take and you dont even need to start with a GP. Change up your diet, make some smarter decisions and better choices at the supermarket. Plan your meals. ... Start incorporating some low intensity exercise into your week. Manage your sleep better. INVEST in your health. This is my favourite. Investing in seeking advice from a GP, Specialist, Naturopath or Nutritionist. Health is so important, its priceless. Follow pages that inspire you. Food pages, PCOS pages, organic product pages! Whatever it may be to keep you on track. Seek tests from your GP. Ultrasound and bloods! Surround yourself with like minded women. Women that may be battling the same thing. Bounce off each other. Its amazing what you can do when you become empowered by others. #women #womenshealth #letstalk #hair #skin #body #nails #girls #health #holistic #yourhealth #womenscycle #knowledgeispower #sharingmyjourney #acne #hormones #hormoneimbalance #foodforpcos #healthy #pcos #knowledge #fatigue #pcoswarrior #raw #raisingawareness #realwomentalk #periods #eatingforpcos #livingwithpcos See more

23.01.2022 1 year ago today I was told I have a Thyroid Auto Immune Disease. To be honest I really didn’t even know much about what a Thyroid was so it was quite scary to know that my life could change. ... I remember crying so much because I was so emotionally exhausted (hello thyroid issues) but I was also so scared. I thought my life was out of my control. It started with PCOS and conversations about struggling to have kids, loose weight, mange X, Y and Z. Then to be told this all over again was so frustrating. I wanted the choice, I wanted things to happen for me on my own accord. Fast forward 1 year, I have complete control. I am in control of my body. Yes I have this tiny tablet each day but like I have said before it assists me along side everything I do to assist it! They say everything happens for a reason and this did. It has taught me how strong willed I am, how much control I do have and what choices I do have about my body. It’s just a spanner in the works that gives me so much drive. Hashi’s doesn’t have me, I have it. HAPPY 1 YEAR BATTLE THYROID, this isn’t the end. A big hug to all other suffering with an autoimmune disease, PCOS, Endometriosis, Chronic illness and the list goes on. Remember we do have a choice and the battle is hard but the results are just amazing! See more

19.01.2022 This is the biggest battle I have had with PCOS so I know how low you can feel. I want to reassure you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You may feel like youve tried everything but your body needs time to heal. It can sometimes be a process of elimination. ... Here are some quick tips to assist you along your journey. 1. Always remember you are beautiful. Your pimples dont define you. They will make you stronger. You just dont know it yet. 2. Implement a good skin care routine with high quality products. Invest in some really good products that arent full of harsh chemicals. As you know, I swear by @vaydaorganics_ 3. Eliminate all dairy. Try 1 week and watch your body closely to see if you can notice a change. 4. Increase your water intake. Water is so important to flush your body and hydrate your skin. 5. . Contraception is a mask. You will be back at square one when you come off it again! 6. Trust the process. Give your body times to heal. My journey has been long but I learnt to be patient. I know its hard, but you arent alone and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. 12.01.2022 PERIODS I used to think having a period was such a burden. I now know the importance of it and embrace it.... Your period can actually tell you more than you think. The colour, the pain, the flow, the length all over those things can be an indicator to how healthy and happy your hormones are or are not! Is an extremely painful period common, yes. Is it normal, no! Is a period lasting up to 7-9 days common, yes. Is it normal, no! Is a super heavy and clotting period common, yes. Is it normal no! The list goes on.... most things are common but they arent necessarily normal. Seek advice from your GP or Womens Health Clinic if you are suffering from painful, heavy and long periods. There might be an explanation! #women #womenshealth #letstalk #hair #skin #body #nails #girls #health #holistic #yourhealth #womenscycle #knowledgeispower #sharingmyjourney #periodtalk #hormones #hormoneimbalance #pcos #healthy #letstalkperiod #hashimotos #fatigue #periods #raw #raisingawareness #realwomentalk #periods #livingwithpcos #takingcontrol See more

10.01.2022 Dont let this tiny tablet control your life. At the beginning of my Hashimotos journey (10 months ago) I kept thinking that this little thing ruled my life. I have much more control over my body than this. I can choose to take this everyday with my supplements to assist. I can choose to eat the right foods to fuel my body correctly. ... I dream of the day not having to take this and supporting my body mainly through food and wholesome supplements. But for now, it still doesnt rule me. It works with me and the other changes Ive made. Some days are harder than others but its all a challenge that was set up for me to overcome. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger! 09.01.2022 Living a healthier and happier lifestyle will be the best thing you could do. Such simple changes and small sacrifices will decrease your severity of symptoms and you will be on the road to a much happier lifestyle. ... 1. Change your diet. Buy more vegetables and fruit. Ditch the sweets and switch it up. Get better and better each shop you do! 2. Water! Up your intake. I aim to have 2.5 litres a day. I notice such a difference in my skin if I consistently drink water. 3. Invest in your health. See your medical team on a regular basis. Whether that be your GP, Specialist, Naturopath or Nutritionist etc. Your body changes all the time, something might need tweaking. Dont look at these things as dead money! 4. Move your body. Hello! Happy hormones. Even if it is just a 10 minutes walk or a 15 minute stretch session. Your body will thank you. 5. Sleep sleep sleep!
