25.01.2022 Introducing Sam and Matt In March of 2019, Sam and Matt were the very first couple that I married without having known them from my pre-celebrant life. They were also my first wedding road trip, it was so nice to travel to Murray Downs Homestead, a property belonging to Matt’s Grandparents. There were so many stunning little areas in the surrounding gardens, it was hard to choose my favourite part. Having arrived with a few hours to spare before the ceremony, I was fortunate... to sit back and watch the floral art group construct the arbour decorations, it was like watching masters at work so much attention to detail. Guests arrived by Paddle Steamer and Sam walked down the aisle accompanied by her father to the sounds of live acoustic music. The wind did play a little havoc with your gorgeous, long veil, but it wasn’t before too long and you were arm in arm with Matt, walking back down the aisle as the next newly wed duo. Thanks you for allowing me to share in your journey through life together. 22.01.2022 2 + M O R E = L O V E One of the best things about being a celebrant is seeing families grow. It was a little unexpected by-product of the job that I absolutely can't get enough of! (Not to mention this gorgeous little squish in my niece) .... . . Another duo who know what capturing the love is all about is @jakehoganphotography & @withlovefromnearandfar again it was hard to choose from all of your amazing work See more

22.01.2022 Loving these colours! A hint of vibrancy for 2021?

21.01.2022 Lest we Forget. We may not be able to attend a memorial today like we have in the past, but we can still view and remember - very much a sign of the 2020 times.

21.01.2022 Happy Wedding day ASH JAKE! So glad that today is finally here! 3rd time lucky... and proof that this year is only getting better See you down the aisle later today.... Xx

17.01.2022 W H Today I pulled on the face mask, lathered on the hand sanitiser and dusted off the name badge as I travelled down to Robinvale for my first wedding of the season - in fact, my first wedding since JUNE!! This intimate little gathering brought together two people who travelled the world to find one another.... I wish them every happiness as they begin their life together as husband and wife. Xx Rebecca

15.01.2022 D A N I E L S A R A H My first couple for 2021 were my first postponement from 2020, missing out on their original date by just days, several attempts later and we finally made it! YOU ARE MARRIED!! Sarah, her bridesmaid and flower girls totally rocked out in converses, quite frankly the most sensible choice of shoes, especially to navigate the steps of the aisle at Trentham Estate Winery.... The rings were carried in on a Celtic ring cushion, and Sarah and Daniel shared their vows in front of of an intimate gathering of family and friends. Thanks for choosing me to walk this journey with you both. I wish you every happiness for the future. Thanks Darren Seiler - Photographer for snapping this pic for me, it was great to catch up with One Sweet Day Films again, as well as the lovely ladies from Birdwoodton Blooms. Xx Rebecca

10.01.2022 Introducing Emily and Matt This beautiful little elopement took place earlier this year in February. Emily and Matt exchanged their vows in front of their parents in the privacy of Matt’s parents garden. Although they may not have been aware at the time, but Emily and Matt set a wonderful example of what weddings in current times and for the next little while are all about! Quite simply, they just wanted to be married. So they did! The ceremony was short and sweet. Emily stil...l walked down the aisle with her father, there was confetti, smiles and congratulations to follow. They got married! Thank you for showing me, how with everything else stripped away from a traditional ceremony, that two people in love can make magic happen. 09.01.2022 This is Tam and Shannon Tam and Shannon were another couple to show me the beauty of an intimate elopement. In September 2019, we gathered by the banks of the Murray River at Trentham Estate Winery. With a few speed boats circling out of curiosity and a windy day threatening, it seemed that the sun shone through and Tam and Roo were able to exchange vows and become Mr and Mrs in between the regions renowned dust storms. ... Listening to you exchange your heartfelt, personally written vows reminded me what is at the centre of small elopements. You are there to pour your hearts out and share your promises, hopes and dreams for one another. Pretty damn romantic if you ask me! It was an honour to share your day with you and it has been exciting seeing your journey unfold as a married couple. 08.01.2022 Introducing Rosetta and Tony How cute are these two! Rosetta and Tony declared their love and commitment to one another in an intimate little ceremony that was celebrated in front of family. I love that you made the most of winter in isolation. There is something so special about ‘small’ weddings call them elopements if you wish, but so far my experience of these are just how bloody ROMANTIC they can be.... Rosetta and Tony, thank you for allowing me to share this moment with you and your family. 08.01.2022 This is Angela and Chance I first met Angela and Chance not long into my celebrant journey. Their wedding was planned for Ampelon Gardens in March of this year and they managed to pull off the most amazing of days before life in wedding industry was flipped upside down. Joined by family and friends, Chance watched as his beautiful bride, Angela walked in to the same song that was playing the moment he had proposed. ... Yours is a story of romance and instant connection and it was an honour to stand with you as you shared your vows and promise of love and commitment with one another. 06.01.2022 Old school wedding inspiration... This weekend I'm using my new found freedom to bring the kids to visit the Grandparents. We pulled out our old lego and I managed to put together this simple wedding backdrop, complete with signing table and bridal car... ... couldn't include the newly wedded couple as all of the lego people were missing arms and heads

06.01.2022 Meet Emma and Patty Theirs was the second of my weddings since beginning as a celebrant. Emma is best buddies with my youngest sister, so she has been in my life for quite a few years now and it was an absolute honour in November of 2018, to see her walking down the aisle towards her man, Patty. A few little sentiments still sit with me after marrying Emma and Patty, they chose the gorgeous Ampelon Gardens as their venue where they shared their vows in the very same spot that... I did with my husband on our own wedding day. (It was also my birthday weekend, so extra reason to celebrate ) I love that I get to tell a couple’s story, it makes each ceremony unique, and in telling your story, I was reminded that sometimes the best part of being together is just how happy you make each other. It was wonderful to be there for you both. Xx Rebecca.
