20.01.2022 CHILD'S POSE If all else fails...child's pose it No but seriously, Child's pose is one of my favourite poses when I am needing to ground my energy back down, gently open through the hips (with a wide knee child's pose) and a general 'reset' when things feel a bit overwhelming ... All you need is a couple of minutes to let this pose work its magic

10.01.2022 LEGS UP THE WALL One of my favourite poses! It is accessible for most people/bodies and you don't need anything - just a wall! You can do this pose if you only have 2 minutes or 20!! Legs up the Wall is a beautiful restorative pose, that helps the Nervous System return back to its baseline, reduces stress, assists in Lymphatic Drainage and can feel amazing to open through the backs of the legs. You can use a blanket over your torso and/or a bolster underneath the hips and sac...rum for further support if you wish! An Inversion that doesn't require you to be able to stand on your head, and you're fully supported. As this is an inverted pose, while you are menstruating it is a personal choice whether you practice this pose or not. If you have blood pressure issues or in late pregnancy, you will want to check with your Doctor before practicing this pose..

05.01.2022 TO RELEASE, FIRST WE MUST FEEL. 2020 is bringing up a lot of stuff for us all and as scary as it is, please give yourself permission to sit IN and WITH whatever is coming up for you specifically and also the collective What is coming up for you, is being revealed for a reason. Do not shove it back down or avoid what your feeling with destructive vices. Let it unravel. To release, first we must feel..... Where & how to start? You don't even need to do anything to begin with - just allow awareness around what's coming up and let it BE SEEN.. Reach out to your mentor, friends, family and your support system where you need to help you during these trying times. Remember, healing isn't easy, it isn't linear and it isn't 'pretty'. Allow yourself to go inwards to heal and process what is demanding your awareness/attention this year

05.01.2022 ENERGY PROTECTION How do you protect your energy? Write a list of 5 - 10 ways to protect your energy that you can choose from and come back to when required. I've provided some examples below that I use to help you get started.... Protecting your energy is your own responsibility and no one elses Imagining being surrounded by a white or gold LIGHT 'BUBBLE' that protects your energy from outside influences BOUNDARIES - one of the best ways to protect your energy is being empowered and grounded in your boundaries. When you have clear boundaries, they will carry energetically but you also need to be grounded in your power to voice your boundaries when someone crosses them CRYSTALS - my fav is to carry black obsidian or smoky quartz in my bra for protection OIL ELIXIRS - blend your favourite protection oils together in a bottle or just drop 1 - 2 drops of each on your skin in the morning & throughout the day when you need KNOW YOUR WORTH - do not give your energy away without a fair energy exchange or where you feel so fulfilled spending your energy on something CLEANSE your space - use sustainably & ethically sourced sage, intention or any other tools that resonate with your to clean the space where you live, work & play
