25.01.2022 Appreciation Post: For anyone new to this page, this is my partner. He’s always giving me inspiration, motivation and never letting me back down from a challenge. Jumping into the Fitness Industry at Goodlife was probably one of the most gutsy things I’ve done in my career. However I couldn’t of done it without him, who continuously believes in me and knows I will succeed and will support me if I fail. But it’s not about succeeding or failing it’s about support, confidence... and the ability to do something you love... so that’s what I did... I took a chance and now I’m living my best life, (Thanks Brad Mondo) I love training people, I love helping people achieve their goals, it’s who I was meant to be. I can only hope that everyone has or will find that special someone or group who helps and supports you through everything! There are so many other people I can thank as well, my family, the team at Goodlife Fortitude Valley, friends, the list goes on. 25.01.2022 Obstacle Courses and Runs! Obstacle courses and runs are incredibly fun! #punintended I first started my obsession with these courses about two years ago, and could not get enough of them! I made friends, I was challenged, pushed to my limits, but overall I had an amazing time! No-one is going to leave you behind its all about being a team and helping each other! You can take it as slow or as fast as you want, aslong as your having the time of your life, that...'s all that matters! So many people are scared of The Spartan Race or Tough Mudder or even Bridge to Brisbane, do yourself a favor and don't be afraid! Put yourself to the test, grab some mates and enjoy it! 02.01.2022 Late Post!!! ...Rest Days... It's important to give your body a break once or twice a week, your muscles need time to relax and rejuvenate for your next workout. Muscle soreness is a common pain we all experience after a workout. During a workout your muscle fibers are pulled and ripped and it's VERY important to stretch down after your workout, so your muscles can slowly regain there original shape and repair... not doing so can result in severe muscle soreness...... Sometimes there is just no escaping muscle soreness... rumor has it if you eat oranges the night before working out the next day after your workout you won't get sore... but... I think that's as useless as saying if your drink cranberry juice and vodka all night you won't get a hangover... But hey, try it at least! I'm all ears if it works! Yes, on the odd occasion you may not get muscle soreness... this does not mean you didn't workout hard enough, it means your muscles are becoming stronger and more resilient, that being said it's important to change up your workouts! #fitlife #musclesoreness #restdays #rlbfitness
