A useful tip during this time is to start your day with a hearty healthy breakfast to set your metabolism up well for the rest of the day so you can enjoy this time with your loved one’s guilt free.... Below is one of our family favourite recipes and a great way for the whole family to start the day! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! -Rebecca O www.rebeccaohealthcoach.com.au Delicious Hearty Pancakes 2 x cups organic rolled oats 2 x tablespoons chia seeds 1 Large banana 1 Soft pear 1 Egg 1 Scoop of protein powder of choice (optional) Coconut oil for cooking. Instructions: Blend oats in a blender until they are fine. Add chia seeds, protein powder banana and pear. Then blend in an egg (add another egg if mixture is still dry) Warm coconut oil on a fry pan to cook. Scoop a large spoon full of mixture and flatten. Flip and leave until golden brown. Enjoy!

22.01.2022 I love the journey just as much as my clients. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story. You look amazing! My first pair of skinny jeans.... This is the smallest I've ever been but more importantly this is the best I have ever felt. I never thought I could wear, and feel confident, in skinny jeans but here I am 12 weeks later feeling healthier and empowered. I began my weight loss journey before working with Rebecca but I reached a point where I felt stuck. I felt like I was doing all the ‘right’ things such as eating well and exercising, but I still couldn't shift the extra stubborn weight. I felt like I was failing however, what I didn’t realise at the time was how being at war with myself had a profound impact on my weight loss. Rebecca taught me to change my thinking around why my body was holding onto that extra weight. We determined that my body had a positive intention for that weight: it was for comfort and belonging. So instead of being angry at myself I could thank that part of me for doing a good job all these years. However, now as a health-conscious adult it was time for an upgrade. I used to think of food as an enemy instead of nourishment and would punish myself for eating something that wasn’t part of my then ‘diet’ plan. Rebecca taught me how the punishment system was not sustainable and how it added to my stress which in turn impacted the way I was eating and my digestion. She opened my eyes to the fact that I was linking being 'healthy' with punishment and deprivation. Could I really blame my body for holding onto that extra weight? Rebecca provided me with life-long tools in order to explore the thoughts and feelings behind my actions. I was trying to change without addressing what was really going on behind the scenes. This was key in finding out why I couldn’t follow through in a way that was in alignment with how I wanted to look and feel. For the first time in my life I believe my weight loss is going to last. I trust myself and have the confidence that I will never revert to my old, unhealthy ways.

18.01.2022 Not long after my daughter was born, I went out for my first run and to my surprise I ran 5km without stopping. I was on cloud 9 for a week! I was so proud! Guess what happened a week later, I couldn’t run 1km without stopping! Then the same thing the next week and the next. Why was that? I didn’t set myself for inevitable success. When you have conditions for this, then follow-through becomes easy. Without this, people fall back into old patterns and get more of what they do...n’t want. Now running is fun, easy and something I look forward to. It is simply something that I do! Now I can run 5km effortlessly and I’m using the exact same steps in the next 90 days to reach my 10km goal. 15.01.2022 There is no need to beat up 'that' part of you inside that has been afraid of change and instead reverts to old habits. These old habits may include bingeing, skipping yoga, negative self-talk or eating foods that no longer serve us. Believe it or not, 'that' part of us has a positive intention, one that strives to create connection, love and belonging and keep us safe.
