19.01.2022 HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY, Miss Alex! Miss Alex is a much loved long term member of the RDS Family. Miss Alex started ballet classes when she was 4 years old. I remember her mum saying to me at Enrolment Day, "she's very shy, very reserved". Boy, was she ever - I don't think she spoke to me until she was at least 12! Alex was dedicated to her craft, showed the most wonderful technique and was so studious (and silent!) in class. Not only is Alex now confident and versatile in all s...tyles of dance, she is a fully qualified BDA jazz teacher and last year completed a Bachelor of Aviation Studies. It has given me such joy over the years to see her form close friendships with Miss Sam and Miss Lillian and now she is forming bonds with her own students, which I hope will last for many years to come. Alex, I hope you have a wonderful day and can't wait to celebrate with you when we're allowed out again! See more

12.01.2022 What a way to end the year! I hope you all enjoyed our 2020 Concert Series as much as I did. It was different, it was a lot of work, but everyone was able to shine on stage. The nervous giggles of anticipation and excitement backstage were second to none. It was lovely to see our big kids taking care of our little kids and showing them what a wonderful experience Concert Day is. Our seasoned performers showcased their talents and put on a spectacular show. Our first tim...ers found their confidence and had a ball on stage. Our littlest dancers were such a delight and captured our hearts. Thank you to everyone who supported RDS during the year and embraced our different concert format. It took us out of our comfort zones, but to see the beaming smiles and joy that the love of dance brought to our RDS Family made it all worthwhile. 2021 enrolment information will be out in January.
