18.01.2022 COASTAL CLASSICS TEAM NOMINATIONS CLOSE SUNDAY 17th JANUARY - Central Coast Basketball are proud to present the annual Coastal Classics tournament which is the state’s premier pre-season tournament for junior teams who wish to compete at a representative level. The Coastal Classic provides teams and associations with an opportunity to compete against the best metropolitan and country teams in the state leading into the NSW Waratah Junior competition for the 2021 season.... Based on the Central Coast, many teams take advantage of our coastal location by booking accommodation and having a team getaway which encourages team culture and team building. Dates: Division 2 - 29th-31st January 2021 Division 1 - 5th-7th February 2021 COVID Information: Measures will be in place to protect the athletes and spectators attending Coastal Classics. These measures are as follows: Digital Sign In - Players and spectators will be required to sign in via the Service NSW digital sign in form upon entry to each venue for each visit. Hand Sanitiser - Players and spectators will be required to sanitise hands upon entry to each venue. Basketballs - Central Coast Basketball will provide the game ball for each game, these balls will be sanitised prior to each game and at half time. Face Masks - Are recommended but not mandatory for spectators providing that you are able to maintain a 1.5m distance from other spectators from differing families. Scorebench officials will be provided with disposable face masks to use during their scorebench duties. Spectator Limit - Our venues are currently restricted to 75% of their seated capacity so to best maintain these limitations, we ask that participants have no more than 2 spectators at each game. 14.01.2022 REBELS TRIALS UPDATE - the U16’s 3:30-5pm session today has been cancelled. Our heat policy is that play is to be abandoned once temperatures reach 40 degrees on court. Although we haven’t reached this temperature on court yet, it’s getting close and we have made the decision that is it best to cancel the final session for today. Please note that the sessions for next week will proceed as planned at this stage. ... Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience.
